Making it as a blogger does take quite a bit of work. And sometimes that work isn’t very much fun. In this video Nathan and Ricky talk about some of the ways that they make blogging more enjoyable.

The trademark “Project 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.

The absolute worst is when you don’t know what to expect AND you’re doing it alone.
I sincerely love how much the Project 24 community helps so many internet marketers both learn what to expect, and get quick feedback on their work!
Such a good video. It's hard and lonely work, but it's great too.
I really needed to hear this right now. I've been feeling burnt out from creating so much content so quickly to get my sites off the ground and it's super helpful to take a step back and see the bigger picture. Taking more time, being more patient, and slowing my publishing schedule down to write more in-depth posts is going to help a lot and you guys have really helped me feel confident in moving forward with that plan. Thank you!
I just published my 50th blog post since starting my blog at the beginning of the year and it's so encouraging to start to see some organic traffic coming my way. This is definitely a career that requires patience and persistence! Thanks for all your tips and encouragement along the way 💛
I learned some important aspects of success blogging from the couples of comments than the actual video. Hahaha. Thanks anyways! Ask always your subscribers very important questions and we would get helpful experiences from them.
Great video my guys
I'm seeing some monetization but building my traffic is painful! 😫 I have been blogging for 2 1/2 years on my current site. I wish getting more consistent traffic would be easier.
An entirely different blog came to mind when he said a torture testing blog 😂
Loving the down to earth honest teaching amen!
Thanks guys. Watching as many videos as possible. It’s daunting, but I’m getting ready to sign up to Project 24…
I am having some success! I am highly motivated to just "add gasoline to the fire" esp. now that I know specifically what works. Started hiering more writers. Found out a good friend loves to write. This is nice since I sort of need a "blogging buddy" It's hard to find someone to talk to about this stuff!
What is the average amount of words a blog post should have?
I was one of the people in that 39%… what I should have answered is the only thing that makes blogging better is being a member of P24 😉
The other motivation killer is all the additional stuff you have to learn about hosting, Google Adwords, running the website, finding and editing images, how the online marketing industry works, etc… not to mention doing the accounting and legal for your new online business. It can feel like it takes forever to just get to the point where the time you spend on it is being used to actually create content.
Right now the most cringe-worthy thing is when someone asks me to send them the link to my website. I feel like there is so much pressure and judgement for someone I know to look at it. Strangers aren't real, of course, so I don't mind that.
I thought I would prefer doing the videos to doing the blogs, but there is a lot more research required for a good/ valuable video than I expected. Now I think that it will be easier to do a deep dive in research and write it down in blogs than to go straight to videos. That being said, I've filmed more videos than I've written blogs…
I had the opportunity to quit my job and spend 100% of my time on my niche. I actually found this harder. I am good at researching to solve a specific problem. Researching to write a general article is a lot harder than I figured it would be. It's like running to train for a sport or a race versus just running. I can't stand running. I felt it easier to brainstorm and research topics when I could also use the information for my day job.
Selecting a niche your really love is a major part of the battle. Going on shoots for images I need for a post is always fun for me and helps break up the more tedious parts.
I've been producing a lot of content for the last six months on my new site and I'm barely seeing any progress. The admonition to create even more content is bittersweet. I actually do enjoy creating content, but I wish the process didn't take so long.
Some really great tips here. Love the idea of setting goals that are not related to earnings. I think this is the ideal mindset for long term success.

Working on my site for a few years and have seen some modest growth but just can not get it take off
