I've got a billion dollar idea for you guys – or anyone reading this… I'm not gonna do it, but here it is. Someone needs to make the equivalent of a TikTok but for blogs/search. Everyone's attention span has fallen drastically. Nobody reads long blog posts anymore. So why not give the customers what they want? Make a platform where publishers can make short – get to the point quickly posts. Instead of having to dig for the information, you search and you get the information you need quickly. Hmm… maybe I should work on this idea… lol

You guys hit the nail on the head. So much of the content coming out is either too "niche" (hate the term by the way), not enough quality research, not written well or some combination of those problems. Looking forward to seeing your solutions!
Glad to hear about the change to keyword research. Personally I use some tools from Google itself in conjunction with my own somewhat defined and somewhat arbitrary competition score, then divide volume by competition and sort post topics that way. Although it is worth realizing that cero does not mean cero and that 600 might mean 3600 if you covered a wide enough net that you're actually ranking for other related queries – hence, usefulness… or completeness, rather. That's the right word: completeness.
I don't know if it is true or not, but I heard that Mark Twain once wrote a letter to a friend and said I'm writing you this two page letter because I don't have time to write you a one-page letter

Your comment about the blog posts being shorter, but the time spent remaining the same, brought to mind the quote attributed to several authors including Mark Twain: "I would have written a shorter letter, but I didn't have the time." Succinct writing certainly takes time! Thank you for the sneak peek at exciting things to come.
When I started, I focused a lot on the amount of words and a lot of my articles were bloated because of that.
Now that I gained experience and I rewrote a lot of my articles and removed unuseful information.
A lot of it comes down to experience and improving your own skills.
Could you have done a better job? Probably – none of us is perfect and we are constantly improving.
Did you teach us good basics, how to create a helpful blog? Definately!
Although I'm not a Project 24 member, I'm defintately excited and looking forward to your new way of teaching.

I have a pet wood turtle and was thinking of blogging about it. Is it a good idea? Should i make it about wood turtles specifically or just pet turtles in general?
