Project 24 is our membership program that teaches you how to work toward replacing your current income with income from websites and YouTube channels in 24 months.

Project 24 is a product of Income School LLC. Results mentioned are not typical. The trademark β€œProject 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.

  1. guys what happened? why all your websites are tanking hard since august?? i really love your direction, but clearly you must have some solution towards this penalty.

i been following you guys since 2015. i do seo myself since 2011. i love your direction and hoped it would last 10 years and more, but clearly somthing is wrong. i follow many of the websites that are from you and your students and using your themes.

today i checked, most of them lost over 90% of the traffic. even your website from garage sales went to nowhere.

  2. I have a question. As I'm new to blogging, I am baffled about one thing: if I write an article and then rewrite the tone of that blog post using Grammarly AI? Will it be wrong for SEO?
As it is counted as an AI content in the ai detector then.

As I'm not a native English speaker, I'm actually confused about whether I should do it or not! Can anyone help me in this regard?

  3. Didn't you start a 12-month challenge about a year ago? It was the one where you would do project 24 in 12 months. I have been looking for the videos on your project, but I can't seem to find them. Maybe you could pull them into a playlist to help us search-challenged viewers?

  4. Thank you for this wonderful video

My question: Is it true that bloggers do not make profits from displaying Google ads until they write many articles, numbering up to ten thousand articles, or is this incorrect and this means that there is a defect in their blogs? Thank you

  5. Hi @IncomeSchool, and Ricky. I'm running 3 blogs at the moment, all of which I have firsthand experience about, hence my contents are original. They are 8 and 9 months respectively. But they're yet to take off. I'm putting one up for sale on Sedo. Need the funds to stay afloat while I run the other two. Has 152 articles on it. Don't know if you'll be interested in taking it up. It's a food site. Pls lemme know. Thanks.

  6. Ricky, I have query regarding the copy cat website owners.

That website is stealing my site content, paraphrasing it, and using my same exact images (I didn't add logo on images), publishing on their site.

That site is high authoritative, have traffic of 40 million/month.

What can i do? Will google take action against that paraphrased content?

How can i proove google/host about using my content?

  7. Keep up the good blogging work here guys.

I decided to turn to social media earlier this year and decided to push high volume of detailed updates to targeted groups. So far so good.

Far more people over there are interested in blogging that I had assumed in the past.

  8. May I know how do I go about sitemap for ACABADO theme? do I need any plugin that is going to tell google about my website? One of the friend recommends Yoast. But I don't like these SEO plugins.

  9. There is one question that we are all asking you Ricky. How do we rank sites in 2023 because the old way doesnt work anymore! And more importantly what is incomeschools plan going forward? I assume you guys are making NEW sites from scratch to see what works in google in 2023 and 2024? If so, where do we track the progress of this.

  10. These are all great tips but i think they are looking at what is now and not forward looking at the direction Google has indicated they want to go. There is an inherent flaw in google's helpful content push they I believe they know about and have a plan to fix. The flaw is in determining what actially is helpful content. Think about who is doing a search and clicking on results, it's people who do not know the answer and clicking on something that sounds like might be the answer. This is a great way to spread the wrong answer to more people. What do they say about Facebook, its a place where people can share their collective ignorance! Google is smart enough to not go down this wrong direction and have already indicated their criteria in the health and finance sectors. I'm looking at these sectors and how google can apply what it did there to my sector. I think that is the direction all bloggers should be looking at.

  11. What do you think the future of seo is going to be? It seems that google is taking up more and more of the search results with instant answers that don't even require you to go to a blog results. Example: ai results, preview of the answer in the search directly without having to go to the site itself. It almost seems it makes more sense to stop competing in google and go to other search channels like youtube.

  12. I blog in German and started a translated english version in the pet niche… The google hcu hit me hard in German… I hope to recover… On My English site i make big cluster of a specific pet… I have 50-70 posts for a specific pet in totak 100 posts …it seams to work… Impressions and klicks starts to grow…only adsense didnt like me yet…

  13. As a content strategist, I can only say that Helpful Content Update isn't anything Helpful.

From all the analysis so far, it's boiling down to having lots of backlinks, which is just crazy.

All the useless E.E.A.T is largely based on links.

    So guys, start building links.

I really didn't pay attention to link building, but it is looking like Domain Authority, which is largely backlinks, is the way to go.

So forget Google's BS and build links.

  14. Love the format! It's hilarious and helpful as well. Also nice to hear your positive thoughts on the future of blogging. Times are changing and it's very challenging, but it looks like there are still good opportunities.

Merry Christmas to all of you at Income School! πŸŽ…

  15. Also thanks for answering my eBooks payments question. I took a look at them and they could all work, all have their pro's and cons.

Braintree you have to apply the be accepted first though. Flat fee per transaction.

SureCart looks like it could work, no monthly fee for starter plan but just fees for transaction.
    SURECART works with following plugins
    AffiliateWP

    BuddyBoss

    SureMembers

    LearnDash

    AffiliateWP

    MemberPress

    Thrive Automator

Sendowl does cost monthly fee plus 5% per TX fee, looks to be the most expensive but they're handling everything for you.

I'm leaning towards SureCart right now for first eBook no nonsense one and done sale, cos it looks simpler with pricing and fees. Honestly though, with what's Google doing to blogs right now, there won't be any traffic to monetize soon anyway.
    Thanks for the help anyhow.

  16. Even Jim's site, backfire TV, got creamed in the latest updates. If he can't fend off Google's latest round of madness then what hope for the rest of us? I hope 2024 is better but I'm seeing no sign of recovery, in fact, things are worse than September now.

  17. I don't know when this was recorded, but sites are continuing to get hit, especially in the last few days or so – even though no Core December update has been announced that I'm aware of.
And even site owners who've done everything they've been advised to do the last few months, such as content pruning, are STILL getting hit.
And even bloggers who really do live and breathe the subjects they write about, and write well, have got hit in recent months.
Enough is enough on this for me, I don't know what's going on with Google right now, but it's destroying so many blogs it's unreal.
PS – Thanks for answering one of my other questions though!
