I just started a podcast channel where i just take my blog posts and talk about it. I have an accent, the video is just a slideshow (no-face). I worry i'll drive people away because of my accent.

You guys are amazing. On my 3 year old blog I have 250+ articles and wondered why I only get around 500 page views in total per month. Thanks to you I now have learned that I did my topic /keyword research all wrong and that my posts are way too short (around 350 words each). I have started implementing your teachings last week and I already see a small traffic bump which will grow over the next months. Now I find out that you even teach YouTube stuff… so excited! The years of gut-wrenching frustration and wasting days on ineffective methods are over and I have new hope for achieving my life goal of becoming a full-time tech blogger and YouTuber. You really know how to pick niches wisely. YouTube is fun but not easy. It takes a lot of time. And it certainly not very passive either in the short run or the long run. The thing with YouTube is you always have to put out videos. With blogging, you don't. You should, but you don't have to. I still do YouTube. In my niches visual tutorials are mostly screensharing and webinars, which I like to do both.

To get more and better data on youtube videos, including your own. Download Google Chrome apps. Tubebuddy and or VIDIQ. You guys need more channel and video tags. Those tags should mimic your title and descriptions: its a multiplier effect. Good luck.

I was looking into doing this and then bought a training seminar on Amazon FBA. That turned out to be the biggest waste of money I can imagine. Then I turned around and invested a lot more time and money into purchasing a lot of sound equipment so we could do karaoke at a local community center. I needed to protect them so I formed my own LLC and completed that just before we were completely shut down by the nCoV and COVID-19 pandemic. Between these ventures I've spent over $10,000 and I have zero coming back from any of it. This was my first thought and the thing that I'm still the most interested in. Why haven't I done it?

Backfire… how the hell did you do it? I have had a guns and hunting channel for 2 years and can't get subs or make money 🙁 I saw backfire and watched the videos i was jealous and wondered how ya did it months ago.

Hi Jim and Ricky. I love you guys heaps. I think you're both awesome. In so many ways. I also know you're both super great Christian guys. I was disappointed that you focused your channel on guns. I'm Australian, you guys are American, and I know it's an important part of your constitution. But imagine how great your – already great – country would be if no one – except police – had guns? It would be wonderful. It's not your fault. Unfortunately, you guys have been raised in a country where guns are freely available.
