Hey Marina! Thankyou! You know, like it's really related, I am from India and I wanna go to Belgium for my high school studies, but my parents won't let me do so. They about the society, that what they think that we are letting our daughter go somewhere far in another country at this young age, sort of thing. You know you really inspired me I mean you are also a girl who went to another country to study and now look at you, you are so successful because you worked hard and didn't care about people or society, you just did it. So you know it always also come up to money, that you will need an amount of money to go and study abroad, also my parents day this so if they don't listen to my thoughts, my wants that's okay your videos taught me to do what you wanna do, and when I complete my 10th grade exams, ah! I forgot to mention that, and so if my parents don't let me go, or just give me excuses for not be able to afford money kinda things, I won't be discouraged or I won't stop, I'll take a student loan, grab my stuffs and fly to Belgium for my high school studies. Thankyou Marina, thankyou so much, you made me believe in myself, and I am really grateful for that. Though you posted this video 6months ago, you may not be looking at this comment as also you are on a vacation, that's okay. But writing you this comment is really making me confident. After 2 years , I am going to college and my family is trying to convince me to go to medical school and be a doctor , I do not want to and since they are not giving me any options or talking about any other major and shushing me when talking about one , I have no idea what should I major in . I took the courage and told my mum but she said that I should postpone the whole conversation after 2 years and then we will talk . But I feel like lost , I can not think about future ,about what I am going to be .
The problem Is : that my mum is playing emotional on me . She tells me do you want to disappoint your father , it is his dream , this is gonna break his heart.
And even when I meet anyone in the family they tell me be a doctor , our family need one.
I can not see myself as a doctor , and now I can not see myself anything.
