We Found Ways to Monetize the Toughest Niches

Some niches are just hard to monetize. Whether you have a blog or a YouTube channel, coming up with ideas for digital info products in some niches can seem impossible. I took some of the niches where people have expressed their struggle to come up with good ideas and came up with some that I think would work really well.

  2. For gaming: a user friendly, step by step guide on how to build your own mods/levels, often a complicated process, even with “out of the box” working level-editor software. Try making a game mod without doing research, probably not gonna happen.

  3. I thought for years there was no info product I could make because I kept thinking ebook and thought I wasn't expert enought to write a book. Last month I started making educational activity PDFs and am seeing how they go. Hopefully it's an additional income stream that takes off. I blog about kids activities.

  4. Gaming channel: I once played "Lord of the rings Online" (LOTRO), and saw a video on youtube where someone played the game. In the desc, they had a link to a an e-book where you could read about how to best play each character in the game, the different strenghts, and tips on how to best use each weapon etc. I bought the book for $10 I think.

  5. Can you suggest a way to monetize an educational blog besides ads and other traditional things? I thought of info products, but, I think all the info is readily available on the net for FREE.

  6. Could you share your thoughts on a website for child health, diseases of newborn babies and children? Would that be a sensible niche for making blogs/ articles and YouTube (with simple animations ) channel ?

  7. As someone who has been in the "info product" business since 2003, I agree with your basic concept. Most folks can create an info-product around any niche they are in. The only "flaw" in your presentation is that there's no proof that you've actually done this in various niches. As Jeff Walker says, "No proof. No launch." This is even more true when you have an audience that can point out where some of your specific suggestions have problems, such as in the gaming niche where complete walkthroughs are common. It's also one thing to say you've found ways to monetize a niche, and something else entirely to say that someone can earn a full-time living from that niche. Earning $100/month won't excite anyone.

  8. This video is a gem. It's easy to assume some of these tactics wouldn't sell but I've been surprised by what people will pay for that I think is "obvious" or "easy" but it's because I'm already knowledgable on a subject.
