About a year ago we decided to start a site in a very competitive niche to give ourselves a good challenge. But what we didn’t expect, was for our exact topics and content to get copied so quickly. But we’re pressing on, and here are the specific strategies we’re using to beat the copy-cats.
Here are the details, terms & conditions for the comment contest: https://incomeschool.com/2022-youtube…

Also check out our stupid fast and crazy functional WordPress theme, Acabado. https://incomeschool.com/acabado
Also, our current recommendations for blogging, video, and podcasting gear, software, and other resources can always be found at https://incomeschool.com/tools

Project 24 is a product of Income School LLC. Results mentioned are not typical. The trademark “Project 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.

I just wanted to go on that first site in the thumbnail. Its not there, the url doesnt exist…
There are so many things to consider when creating your content strategy. It is always a moving target and one has to try to be two steps ahead of the competitors, who are waiting to see your next move.
The small issue might be the fact that sites like FoodsGuy can "create" 500+ pages per week. While being on topic with some solid information.
Now that would be an interesting talking point: How to compete against someone who has more money and access to better things (yes I am referring to AI writers) in terms of blogging? Sites like the mentioned FG can establish E-A-T in a fraction of a time I can. The only logical move from my point of view is change niche…
Any ideas?
Hello Sis, Is this content currently open to support advertising? Please reply sis.
I am starting to use videos more to supplement and enhance my blogs. Right now I'm benefiting that YouTube has shown some love to my channels and tiny channels in general. I like having community posts!
It's amazing when you think about it…
Google and the internet has become the world's largest flea market & trade show!
Anyone anywhere at anytime can reproduce anything that is successful… And they can lie about anything, anytime & anywhere in their content just to pass someone up. It seems like it's becoming a full time, round the clock free-for-all on a 24/7 basis.
Simply Amazing lol
Just adding up what I've found at a glance: First of all the site is hammered with ads and banners. The size of the images were way too big even for my laptop, which could make LCP, FCP issues for core web vital. When first landing on your homepage, it feels quite empty untill I scrolled down.
I also found same photos placed multiple times in the same post, which doesn't really make a good impression. Loading speed is not that good. The titles of the posts are quite average. These things may not be major but it is not minor either while competing for a saturated topic.
I wish you all the best.
BACKLINKS A KING EVERYONE TOLD YOU LMAO
MY SITES BEEN FUCKED TOO FROM DOING ORIGINAL CONTENT

Honestly, I'm not surprised you have been targeted by lazy, selfish copycats with the large following you have and your generosity in sharing your site's journey it's a shame that attracts the wrong type of audience as well as those of us just looking to learn from you. Lucky I think you guys are smart enough to stay one step ahead of the competition so you'll beat them every time, or most of the time. I think the strategies you're using will help, particularly using video to supplement your content. Some of the other strategies take to much time for the ROI you're likely to get for the time invested.
I brought this topic to your attention a couple of times regarding P24 members scraping my articles. Others have done it as well. Google seems to be favoring high domain and authority sites, when they copy an article, they rank better. Really frustrating and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
And why don´t you fight back against that competitor's blog article if you are so good at SEO, you have an office full of people working for you and you have a paid course about it to show it to everyone?
I ❤the way you broke the different social media options down. I wasn't aware that Pinterest was not trying to keep people on their platform🤷♀. Thanks for the heads up.
It's surprising that quora is placed just above yours. We thought forums like quora has less authority, but seems like it is not. Is it?
To combat people writing on my same topics I have been writing a LOT of how to posts with original photos. This takes a lot more work than regular response posts but is also harder to copy since it’s original work.
Thanks from Nigeria west Africa
My YouTube channel on selling antique books on eBay actually does pretty well! It's surprising, since I chose the niche thinking it'd be a big challenge to monetize since (I thought) it was so incredibly small.
Idea for a YouTube video to relate to your catering post on your Cook for Folks blog–How to choose the right caterer for your event. I used to own a catering company. There are some really good/important questions to ask a caterer to determine whom to hire for your event.
How can someone working full-time and blogging also find the time to create YouTube? I'm willing to do it, but can't carve out the time😥 Also, I invested in Income School course and it's REALLY good
Incredible content. Thanks for sharing
I'm just starting to learn more. Been watching a tonne of your videos… Great stuff! I'm in Australia, still thinking about my niche and where I can add some value!
