How to save money, how to invest your money in your 20s, how to save money, how to invest in stocks, investing for beginners, how to build wealth, best stock trading apps, what is a 401k, are all phrases and question’s we should google search at some point in our lives – the earlier the better.

But in order to get to that moment of “awakening”, we have to experience money and materialism in a way that changes our mindset to start thinking about money differently. Of course, the earlier we have our moment of realization, the better. When this happens, your relationship with time and money completely changes. It’s a mindset that pays literal dividends.

This is exactly when investing changed for me and my roommate. I got to experience the ultimate luxury of what money could buy me. This experience is defined differently for each person.

For my roommate for example, it took him having a six figure job, living in Hawaii and driving luxury cars to realize that money was not what brought him happiness. For me, I realized my dream of living in a million dollar high-rise that I promised myself I’d live in. We achieved our financial dreams early on but we both came to realize those financial goals were not worth chasing.

That prompts the questions. What is money for? What are you supposed to do with it? That’s when money changed me, I discovered what it really meant and how to use it. How to set proper goals that would inspire me, motivate me, to do what makes me truly happy – the road to financial independence and true freedom. This is that story. 1. What did it take for you to have your moment of realization about money? Was it something you bought? Was it the perfect job you realize didn't make you happy? I really believe you need to have this moment before investing starts to make any sense

  2. I’m 20 and I wouldn’t really care about driving ferraris or Lamborghinis, I think I would prefer just working at a job I enjoy and make enough from investments so it wouldn’t matter how much I get paid from my job. That seems like the end goal for me.

  3. “Someone that is watching this video HAS to be going through that exact same thing”
Me:*dealing with it a year earlier than most people because I wanna be doing what your doing but my parents want me to be an engineer*

  4. I immigrated here from Kiev Ukraine in 1991 at the age of 9 and I never went to a university but was lucky to work for an affiliate network for almost 4 years. I had no idea what I was getting into when I applied for the job. lol I started there knowing 0. My job there paid as much or more what people get paid with BA degrees and even MA's. It was my wilingness to learn, network, etc that got me there, not college. It IS very possible to have a great paying gig without going to college. I love your vids and just opened a roth 2 weeks ago and started investing at the end of May. Thanks for all your hard work and the humor. Bud' shastliv! =)

  5. You act like because you are an immigrant that you overcame so much more than natural born citizens but you actually had and have it so much easier than us. Still you make money on YouTube telling everyone about it. God bless America if you’re an immigrant!!!!!!

  6. I was lucky enough to get a few pieces of duct tape to try and seal up the wholes in my shoes when it rained so my socks were dry for an extra half hour while I walked to school before I was made fun of for having taped up shoes. But good job guys on your success with the government help only because you weren’t born here. 👍

  7. This dude had enough money growing up to collect enough shoes to sell them for $50,000?!!!!!! There were several years that I had only one pair of shoes and I was born here!!!gotta love the government aid. I was born here and never had that…

  8. No sirs. First of all, well I can speak only for myself but as a Marine I know that I and all the Marines around me EARNED our rank and ribbons of service, etc. they can never take that away from us either. Especially our title of US Marines

  9. Tbh I dropped out of college and I feel like I have to go back to make my mom proud and I'm not even doing what I want to do because I want to make her happy and do what she wants me to do and what my grandma wants me to do so I guess I am actually going to be a doctor I have no choice but to go back next year especially since I'm kinda Almost done
