The coronavirus has changed the job market almost overnight. The global outbreak has seriously impacted the economy and job security. It will have long-lasting, game-changing ramifications. We’re entering a brutal job market, where you just can’t take anything for granted.

(1) MOVIE THEATERS. Filmmaker Universal detonated a nuclear bomb in Hollywood last week. Its kids film Trolls 2 became the first mainstream movie to be released online, skipping movie theaters. Families can stream it at home for 20 bucks. Movie theaters have always held an exclusive window for film releases. They demand 90-day, exclusive rights before the movie can be shown elsewhere. In short, this is how they make money. Filmmakers have toyed with releasing films online, but theaters always blocked it.

(2) DEPARTMENT STORES. Department stores, malls and speciality retailers will lose business and shed jobs, as people are not leaving their homes. Big retailers, such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman, have all announced that they are closing their stores. This will cause a large number of retail workers to lose their jobs.

(3) OFFICE SPACE OPERATORS. This crisis has forced the world into a mass experiment. Tens of millions of us are working from home for the first time ever. It’s changing an entire generation’s view on what can be done remotely. After months of working from home, folks will realize they’re just as productive. They’ll question why they need to commute to the office every day. And working remotely, say, two or three days a week will become the new normal.

(4) TRAVEL. Airlines, aircraft manufacturers and their suppliers, resorts, hotels, restaurants, sporting events, cruise lines, conferences and music concerts will be negatively impacted. With the sudden cessation of business, companies in these areas will be forced to downsize their employees or radically cut the hours that they work. Many businesses may not make it and close down.

(5) MANUFACTURING. Manufacturing is going to get hit hard too. The three big Detroit automakers have all announced that they will suspend operations at their factories in the United States. Under pressure from the United Auto Workers union over concerns about the safety of its members, the auto giants have temporarily ceased operations.

Industries and companies that will be hiring, thriving and making money: online, AR (augmented reality), video game, giant global corporations, renewable energy (solar and wind). More details are in the video.

  2. I got 1. Software design for duo or zoom or youtube/ttok that predicts static in vid and adjusts or warns AI. Thus adjusts dpi, stops other country from linking up and perving etc.

Just saw some glitch somewhere and thought vid needs help

Can I suggest another, holographic industries will be 2022 or beyond.

Great vid again. Good to return and see quality still is yours

  3. WE MIGHT
    I THINK
    Drive-In making a comeback already
Not going through your vagueness of mom & pop businesses.. dog grooming? cartoon world? how people watch this is beyond me

  4. Hi, great video! I agree with you about who the losers/winners are, but I would add a few things that you didn't mention in your video probably because you are in the e-learning industry and you are less interested about traditional industries. When you referred to the giant corporations who will succeed no matter what, you only mentioned the GAFA. But there are other industries who are not really affected by this crisis : banking industry, financial services, insurance, etc. I am working for a giant in the financial sector (Sun Life Financial) in the pension plans administration. Our business was not really affected by the pandemic. I don't pretend to be an expert because I don't have any executive role and I'm an office worker at the bottom of the hierarchy. But it seems to me that our business continues to grow endlessly and the problem that we have is that we are unable to meet the demand. lol During the pandemic, the company was in such a good financial shape that they gave bonuses to all essential employees who continued going at the office. In other words, I understand that the tech industry is the futur, but some traditional sectors are still thriving.

  5. I do music lessons for day cares online. The lesson is 20 minutes ad kids LOVE it. I play piano and we sing a songs and I also show them different instruments, as double bass, clarinet, drums, all the instruments that I have in my home music studio. I take only $25/lesson, but those price keeps me busy all day from Monday to Friday. I live in San Francisco (East bay).

  6. Nice and informative video✅ DCA is good strategy, but the approach that has mostly favoured me is (Price Action Margin) live trade alerts. I hold a decent amount of bitcoin today, i got there by cutting tiny bits from my pay check and injecting into bitcoin trading but i made my research weighing the pros and cons of trading against DCA and saw how quickly i could grow my portfolio as a trader using a strategy(PRICE ACTION MARGIN) that works perfectly which in my case is that of Mr Diego Finn, a crypto trader that uses Price Action Margin to generate trade alert that i copy daily to make profit. As a mentor and guide, i have been using his daily alerts and managed to grow 1.2btc into about 6.8btc within a short course of time and i have recommended same system to a few friends who are also enjoying steady profit and setting up a good future in bitcoin. Mr Diego can be contacted via Whatsapp: +447475934185 and Telegram @ diegofinn for a better breakdown of his system which was so productive for me..
