Please help us assess how "helpful" this update really is and fill out the survey. Thanks!
First learn the basics with keyboard and mouse. Then get a soft board and content interface if needed.
Original research. otay
wtf, search engine content IS user focused
This is legitimately the reason for me starting my blog. So so tired of seeing Fluff when researching for information. Nobody should have to sift through 10+ articles to get a good synopsis of a inquiry. Thank you for bringing this to us! This is why I subscribed to you and I hope one day to be working with you!
im probably the only one but this trembling audio is driving me insane lol
The blog post type WordPress gives you out of the box I’ve found over the years isn’t great. Create a custom post type and you can then filter posts other than just by category..like persona, industry, etc. It makes those recommended posts and thank you page sections more powerful.
Will the algorithm target all the sites with "best" prefix? Nobody knows.
Hi! thank you for a great content! Sorry for a long question…
How about big guys such as tomsguide or pcmag, insider and many more.
They show up on top seach even if it's not their niche and some bloggers who name domain after their name and by picking right keywords they rank well, what do you think about them?
i was thinking to run blog on broad topics with unique keywords.. or should I just concentrate on a tiny niche with a good volume
Hi, i have a question on Google Helpful Content Update. My website is in dog niche. And I have written articles on multiple dog breeds. After this update should i keep working on multiple dog breeds Or should i focus on one dog breed only? Please let me know. I am confused.
100% and I hope it washes the internet of the low grade content
I haven't lost my rankings, but I lost most of traffic. I think they made a bunch of changes to auto suggest that affect search volume.
I have the best info in my niche by far, but always get hit by these updates. SEO is a really unreliable way to build a business… At least I have other channels.
Hi bro,
Bro my AdSense is not connected with my google Sitekit, I watch too many videos and apply but the results are zero. (It shows You need to fix some things before we can connect the site kit to your AdSense account.
Kindly help me, make a video on it, and how I remove this error from my site.
Regards
You adjust for the update and then have to change it when the next update happens. I'm sick of it. Just write content that people want to read
Those release date articles drive me NUTS! I really hope it removes those.
Thanks for the breakdown. This is an interesting development in regard to the increasing choice of AI assisted writing tools.
All designed just to make it easier for Google to feed its AI engines with focused input data.
Is there a way to contact you to ask a few questions before joining P24?
I'm trying to recover from the last update 😫 it hit me HARD. I hope this update helps my blog.
I’ll do it. I’m watching my traffic like a hawk
I think it’s good! I’m fed up with people pushing AI software like Jasper to write just for the affiliate commission. I’m also fed up with reading posts that are full of fluff just to repeat the keywords again and again. Now us serious writers can stand a better chance of getting paid for our efforts!
Thank you for this great news.

I won't be doing any survey till the end of next week. So far there is no change.
Google lies. It's still doing 2001 PR/keyword SEO but with a strong spam filter, it's not smart. They want you to do helpful content because it helps them make more ad money.
I'm a new blogger who hasn't really started yet but was put off for a while with how many of those garbage listicle or super short no substance sites were out there that kind of "gamed" the algo to rank and make ad money from.
It seems the last several updates have drastically reduced the ranking of those "unhelpful" sites and it seems like this one is following the clear trend towards creating good thought out content…no more easy garbage posts to win the ranking wars …this can only be a benefit to users and is something I can get behind. It also seems like they're trying to mix the proliferation of bad AI content which is great.
I have often wondered how much the people at Google really understand what might happen with a new update…in other words, they might be just as surprised as we are by what actually happens as at this point there is so much in the algo on top of how people respond that it isn't just ok we are doing this update so that we get this result – it's more we are doing this update and hope for this result…on top of that while they influence what creators create the real asset for them is selling attention and that doesn't change – wouldn't it be beneficial to look at Google as a simple system – look to their top ad buyers and then on some level go, what do these ad buyers want? What about in your niche, who are the ad buyers? Obviously just as dangerous as chasing keywords however there is a simple system in place to satisfy those buyers, is there something in Income School which looks at this as well?
This video is so ambiguous, you would think we as SEO specialists have been doing this all along lol 😂
SHUT UP!
So, substantial content is finally coming back to content marketing? Nice!
Do you think de-indexing the "unhelpful" posts will still affect the rest of the "helpful" posts/website?
Something that's not really clear to me, is what is considered "helpful". I get it if that means finding an answer for someone's question. But content that has a different purpose, like entertaining people, could also be helpful, for example to cheer up someone's mood. So what's helpful after all? I just wonder how Google will handle that.
Regarding 9:37, I tend to disagree here. If there is no release date yet, the simple answer is that there is no release date available. That answers the question for that moment. People might not be happy about it, but it's the truth. So in that sense, it's helpful but perhaps not what people want to hear. You can also speculate if your information is based on reliable sources.
