I'm so stuck in this "find a niche" nonsense! I keep thinking I need to find a niche that, first, won't be draining. Second, I want to build something that adds real value to community in need, but is also one that excites me, one that I will have no problem going the long haul with. Lastly, I'm focused on affiliate niches that incorporate some type of subscription model (ie app promos). This measure makes the search for MY "holy grail" niche rather difficult.

It has helped us get growth over the last two years. I'm still trying to get out of my own way and trying to learn to focus. Have a lot of shinny object syndrome and have been dealing with a lot of physical and mental health issues that get in the way. I've been a nomadic travel blogger/photographer now 3 years. Former video/film producer from Nashville.
Your videos help me a lot with motivation and mindset. BTW, love Tahoe! We need to get back there whenever we get back to the States (currently in Europe).

Miles, do you think teaching aspiring bloggers with no writing experience is a good niche or is it too broad?
Awesome. Your videos really help inspire me. Im basically a newcomer and got wrapped up in the guru shiny object stuff. Im starting a channel and website about sobriety and aa related stuff. Providing alot of useful insight from my first hand wisdom. Also revamping my lawn service website. It was just sitting there doing nothing other than kindof a static ad. I plan on using it to give valuable info and become an income generator to supplement the labor side of business. Plan on adding How tos, reviews, affiliate links and more aggressive seo etc to grow an email list.

Miles, do you have any clients that are frustrated with their business because of the real estate bubble? You inspired me to build my website when you first had your youtube challenge 4 years ago, and I kept working on my website and building products. Now in my year 4 I'm on track to sell $400,000 and net $160,000, which is great, but I'm so burned out and frustrated because of the real estate bubble. I'm so sick and tired of working in an ice cold garage, I'm constantly bumping into things and getting bruises, I have hundreds of boxes with nowhere to put them, it's just so frustrating. I should be happy but I'm so discouraged. I want a home I can work from, I want to start my day exercising and going to a warm workplace at a designated time every morning, but it's so hard to keep going when all your hard-earned money is now meaningless because of all this money printing. Houses that were $300,000 just three years ago are now $700,000, and even if I wanted to, I couldn't have bought a house to work from because I was just starting my business back then. Anyway, I'm ranting, but it sure would be nice to get some support for those of us working from cold garages in this disgusting housing bubble.
