  1. I think the blogs that will stick around will have a personal POV – personal reviews of products, locations, recommendations, etc. Of course A.I. could learn how to imitate a human … then we are all scewed 🙁

  2. I have a question regarding having a business website and blogging. Would it make sense to do blogging for income on a business site related to the topics? I have been involved in a host of technical fields since the early 80's and have been project managing for at least 10 years of my career in industrial and large scale contracting. I have built machinery from scratch employing new concepts and done refurbishing and upgrading of existing and outdated equipment. I'm going to be starting a consultancy business where I offer all of the above including concept development, renewable energy systems design, sourcing and process improvement and skills development. I have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in the above and want to start moving some of my advice and knowledge I regularly share on social media to help others over to a blogging format. I think it would be a great idea to take the questions asked on technical groups as ideas for a blog by answering the questions in the blog and then sharing a link to the blog in the group as an answer to the question.

My question is whether it would be a good idea to have both the business and a monetised blogging category on one website or should I separate the two. For the business perspective it may appear unprofessional to have advertising but I may attract clients for my services to my business website via the blogs. How would you approach this?

Would you make the blogging section invisible from the business section and the business section visible from the blogging section or would you completely separate the two? I want to initiate the process to register the Pty Ltd business in the coming week and then register the domain/s and be live with the business website and have my first blogs up before the end of the month.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

PS: This might be a good topic for a quick short video. 😉😊

  3. Please don't use 60FPS for livestream – the result is very bad, your internet connection is not fast enough to transfer that mich of video information, just use 30fps and videos will be smoother

  4. I try to use AI tools a well..a tool to help me increase my workflow. I don't use to write content yet, as I find it more work to go in and having to verify the validity of what it's written. As a developer I've noticed ChatGPT several times over give me bad code or simply answering completely incorrectly to questions and maintaining it's correct even though it clearly is not.

  5. Thanks for answering my YMYL-question!! Just one thing about Youtube: AI is coming to video too, possibly even this year, but surely in 2024.

  6. Chatgpt is coming and blogging will become a lot less profitable. I was thinking about starting a blog as a side business, but chatgpt coming out makes me think I'd go aboard a sinking ship

  7. Ricky, p24 taught me to do original research. And I and my sites thank you and the team… and Jim. Anyway, I decided to do some original research for you…a survey, as it were. I went door-to-door, yurt-to-yurt, harem-to-harem, even hit a few castles. And after speaking with nearly 8 billion people, it was unanimous…we want another 10 Hour Live! With all the changes in blogging, ai, etc., a super long live would be the perfect way to christen the new office when it’s ready. Cool? Cool. We’ll see you then.

  8. I could foresee search engines becoming an AI chatbot like ChatGPT that gives you some initial information and MAYBE some source links. I don't think that blogging will die out completely but it won't be the same as it is today.

  9. That’s so interesting how AI is supposed to help but it’s trained based on human activity via internet not real face to face interactions. People are not the same people on line as they are in real life! And if that’s how AI leans from humans based on the internet it will pick up on that. These days there seems to be much more anger and hate going around online and social media, it rubs off on other people and they go online to vent and throw up all that angst and hate then some one else reads it and it’s a cycle but these days we have AIs and it algorithms that amplify back to us what’s already out there.
