I think that Polkadot's Parachains are no longer needed, since Ethereum established a rocksolid ecosystem of layer 2 chains. I also strongly critize the existence of "Parachain-auctions", since access to a chain should not be guarded by "auctions". But maybe I am wrong, since I do not have time to follow Polkadot's development in fulltime.
