With all due respect from one MMO channel to another, you’re saying “youtube should not work like this, these videos should not get views” and that don’t make any sense to me. YT pushes it because it gets views. Yes you may think it’s useless info, but it doesn’t matter. The viewer decides what to watch and YT simply pushes that. You can complain as much as you want saying “people should watch this instead”, but that’s not for you to decide. Its the viewer. That’s like authors who writes books based in passion and zero market research crying “why aren’t my books selling!” When they wrote a book no one wants. Or if you join a basketball game and complain “I don’ like the rules!”. You either play the game or play a different game that you like better. Maybe I will change my mind once I hit 200k subs like you though. Good luck with your new ventures

I'm glad human conscience exists. I'm happy you are leaving the predatory niche of selling a unrealistic dream with clickbait. 50% of audience for MMO content are not people well off but people struggling and facing evictions. They are in survival mode and they don't care who is selling them a dream. People who lashed out at you probably faced lot of hardships and just looking to lashout and as a MMO creator you were just there. Does that make it right? No! It's just easier for people to lash out at people who they feel have wronged them. Also, bit of tough love, please don't kid yourself that you were 100% innocent, you wilfully put out this content with clickbaity promises for your personal gain. So, both hands tainted. People who were mean to you and you yourself for selling false hope. MMO content just derails them from taking other measures that could better their life like upskilling to get better jobs or start busineses, controlling lifestyle inflation etc. This pandemic of MMO can only stop when all MMO creators respond to their conscience like you did after so long.

Hi Marissa, well done. The "Get Rich Quick" scheme is way overvalued on YouTube. However, I think the Algorithm is at first, not promoting these Dollar signs, but the consumer does. As with all content, the more clickbait it is, the more people click on it, thus the Algorithm will move it up. This is why the news are always about bad things and not about a person planting trees in the desert. Consumers are just that "stupid" and go for the low hanging fruits.
Nevertheless, I applaud you on your shift in your channels direction and wish you all the best.

This video seems a bit hypocritical. How dare other creators pivot to the scammy way I just stopped making videos? I am now going to use the remnants of that large audience that strategy gave me and pivot to something else while shaming the rest on way out. Had you shut down this channel and started over with an apology to the people you mislead with your past content it would be different. Heck, it would be different if you had deleted all your previous videos and started over. But doing that gets rid of the money they still bring in. This is why this seems hypocritical to me. Also, people feeling lied to because you make promises in your old vidoes about how they can make money using a method you taught but never tried isn't mean. It's accountability. That said I know people can genuinely be mean on the internet and there's no excuse for their bad behavior. That said, I wish you the best. Hopefully you do better with your new content.
