  1. Major indexes booked their worst yearly performance since 2008 thanks to drivers like the recession, war, hiked interest rate and inflation which so far doesn’t seem to be easing off, so I’m left wondering what 2023 has in store for us investors, I’ve been sitting on over $745K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy or do I wait?

  2. Would be interesting to see the overall true cost of the house if you make extra mortgage repayments each month. Those total interest costs are scary high but paying extra at the start of the mortgage can make a big difference

  3. 1:20 "Percent of each generation owning their home" I would love to see the percentage of each generation putting their owned house up for rent. I suspect that boomers and gen x is s drawing money from the younger generations.

  4. And of course, the other thing to consider is how structured are you as a person.
Will you actually take the money you are "saving" renting over buying and put it in the market?
If so, then that's great. But if you suspect that you are the type of person that will see things that seem like valid "needs" for some of that, that's something to consider.
It's that old bit about a mortgage being that "forced savings account." For some people, there is truth in that.
I don't think that's a bad thing. That's just people and different people save differently…
Could I have saved money by getting a 30 year mortgage and investing the money that is the difference because I have a 15 year mortgage? Yep.
Would I have done that? Not consistently. Just being honest about myself…
If I'd rented (assuming the math worked out), would I have saved the extra and invested? Not consistently…

  5. For your haircut, you would need to ask them for a Low-Fade. And tell them not to do a zero but a .5 or even start at a 1. I too use to struggle at barbers 🙁

  6. Thanks for your information. I liked the math to see if better to buy or rent.
We could add another sector like demand and supply which we have lots of demand and no inventory. Population growth, and higher cost for built a house, increasing gas price, Leiber, inflation all depend on what area we are investing could make all numbers different.

  7. Amidst the recession and inflation, its incredible how much one stands to gain with professional help on the financial markets. Since I contracted Melvin Don Fisher as my financial adviser, my prtfolio grew by 23% and losses are minimal. Look him up on Google, I strongly recommend him.

  8. Unfortunately, I think millennials are screwed. The baby boomers are living longer and are spending more of their savings. In addition, inflation will continue to steal wealth from everyone. Finally, the remaining inheritance will be lost to nursing homes, hospitals, and medicines. The last years of life are the most expensive resulting in a significant loss of wealth for Gen X. Generation Xe rs will have the same expenses as their parents in older age resulting in much less inheritance left for millennials.

  9. Before the 2007-08 crash I moved to Florida bought an RV paid $350.00 month lot rent which included water, sewer, trash pick-up, and lawn care. I paid Electric & cable. Florida has no state tax. 🎉

  10. Your videos are very insightful and I’ve been a quiet subscriber for about three years now. I rarely comment on videos and even less so on the comment you are about to read, “you finally got your haircut fixed! 🙌🏽” Sorry the useless comment haha. I never comment about appearance but I’m a barber and everytime I watch your videos I would say to myself, “if he sat on my chair I would fix that cut.” This cut suits you, but there are still a few things I would change. Anyways back to watching silently 🙃
