  1. Blogging won't make a lot of money overnight. It takes a long time and continuous effort before you can make money sustaining the daily living cost. I totally agree with Ricky about the side hustle for some beginners in blogging supporting their day-to-day financial needs. For my situation, it is a bit less hustle as I can live on my retirement plan while I am doing blogging.

  2. thank you so much for this video, I've really been thinking all the negative thoughts that you said, I've just started a blog and I never wrote anything in my life but I know that blogging may change my life for the better, and after watching the video I feel already more comfortable, thank you so much for the tips you gave us, may God bless you

  3. I think even if you don't like your blog topic and you treat the writing process as a job you can still succeed. After reaching 100,000 page views you can just export the writing. It's the first 100 posts that are the hardest.

  4. Problem 4 Writing – I think anyone who likes to talk to others, like friends and family, just needs to write like they are having a conversation. That is definitely makes them 'authentic' and much more relatable to readers. Heck, there are even apps that can do voice-to-text. 🙂

  5. What a great idea – writing 30 articles before judging. I have heard similar ideas with creative works such as the 100 in 1 (100 creative accomplishments done in one year) before evaluating. Such great advice. If this is typical then Income School is a bargain.

  6. Hi Ricky, Its been a month now. 10 of my articles are not indexed by google. These 10 articles are not bad, atleast better than those which are already ranking. I have tried almost everything i know. What could possibly be the reason for this? Can you guys help? Please

  7. Another great video guys. My situation reflects what you’ve spoken about. I work full time and started a site in the hope of having a side hustle. I’ve reached 39 articles penned by myself and have basically hit a brick wall. I needed time out and am letting my site mature for the moment. Impressions are increasing weekly with the odd click. I almost want or indeed need to see the stats improve to validate what I’ve done so far is okay. That would then encourage me to continue. 👍🏻

  8. Ive written 70 blog posts, a good number are low/no competition. My blog is 7 months old but still no traffic. I think back links is what is holding me back. My DA is just 3 since it's a brand new domain

  9. I love your channel and content. I started my blog over a year ago in the weight loss niche before I found your site. I'm up to 50 posts but alas am lost in the google ocean of the biggest niche on the planet lol I'm going to finish it out, but I'm still starting another blog this year.

  10. Hey Ricky! Thank for this great video again. I have a couple of content not ranking high on Google, should I delete them? I want to start fresh and publish more quality content

  11. It has become a habit! I never considered myself a writer at all. I was a really mediocre student in school. A year in, I don't dread it, I don't even think about it, I just do it. I am pretty proud of some of my articles.

  12. It isn't the highly technical issues that make people fail at blogging. It is those simple issues mentioned here that really impact a site's success. I think the most critical are search analysis and quitting too soon. Thanks Ricky and Anna. Happy New Year to everyone behind the scenes at Income School!

  13. I swear you guys must have read my my mind somehow before you made this video. Everything you said is literally what I'm going through… Again thank you for the great content. #U Rock!

  14. The cringe is part of blogging. I have re-written and deleted posts from months or a year ago. They did not work. I found you have to develop a writing style that fits the niche. In one niche a certain style of writing will work but in another, it may be a flop. The target audience determines the style and readability levels of the content.
I see people expect dramatic results in a short time also. If in a competitive niche. It may take 2 years to be somewhat successful. It takes longer to establish E-A-T in some niches.

  15. #I_Need_Suggestion
I have three blogs one is monetized with ezoic and adsense (wiki niche) and ezoic is not giving approval to my animals niche blog and I don't want to work on wiki niche because of low Revenue potential and I want to continue with animals niche so should I work on wiki blog with animals wiki name or I should work on animals niche blog where ezoic is not giving approval. I am very confused. Note – I am not gonna write anymore wiki post on wiki blog so should I write animals post on that blog because that is monetized and have good authority or should work hard on animals niche and wait for ezoic approval.

  16. I love writing but I hate research. I know that's a part of my problem. The other part is that when I do sit down to write I'll write like 20 articles at once and get burnt out really fast.
