By far, the most important skill for bloggers and all creators of web content, is search analysis. Search Analysis is our approach to what most bloggers call “Keyword Research” and it’s the one thing that separates those who succeed at ranking their content organically on Google, and those who don’t.
In this video I’ll show you some important aspects of Search Analysis by showing you an example of a blog post that didn’t get it right and by showing you how I’d fix it.

Thanks for being here with me today!
It’s funny how this one topic, search analysis, can be so big! But it’s really the 1 skill that separates success from failure in blogging more than anything else.
Like anything else that’s hard, practice is key. You’ve got this!
I had several light bulbs go off. Thank you!
This was SUPER helpful! I might have to watch it 10 times. And oh yeah. Writer, I have a terrible relationship with my adult sister and it’s because my parents did NOT manage that rivalry well at all.
I think your advice is really going to help me. I do need to keep on subject and make everything more logical. Now to go and start improving some pages!
I never thought do that kind of search thank for the advice
seeing this post boosted my confidence lol
So helpful! Thanks, guys!
Even as a Project 24 member I still learn from your videos!
I was hoping for some good one line slammers here, but Ricky is too nice to lay someone out even in a joke.
Is it allowed to copy Amazon product description to a blog post? Does it affect its SEO somehow?
Thanks for all the great tips that you backed up with real life examples. You mentioned you should (as google does) treat your subheadings as titles. So would you recommend these are also around 60 characters long? What's the risk of using longer headlines and subheadings?
i felt like you are talking to me in this video.
Ricky, THANK YOU and Merry Christmas to all of you!!
Sooper good video
Excellent tips as always Ricky.
Great video…well done
this video was amazing to watch. You gave some really good info about blogging. Some good tips that Everyone should take into account; especially if you're a new blogger. Wow! Even some stuff that I didn't know, and now it makes logical sense.
About halfway through I realized this is a fantastic tutorial on how to roast (and thus improve!) our own blog posts. Thanks Ricky!
Mr Brian C Nelson is the best recommending him to all beginners who wants to recover losses like i did.
Awesome strategy! Can you give a rule of thumb for how long (how many words) each article should be? Like the approx. length of the main article as well as all the other, more specific, in-depth articles you described. Thanks
These 'roasts' are always enlightening. One suggestion, change your Blog Post Recipe pdf by adding above Subhead 1, "Treat all subheadings as stand-alone headlines for a segment of your blog post." I can't hear that suggestion enough.
Gold as always, Thanks guys!
Another P24 member here – thanks for all you do, Team Income School. This was a great way to look at search analysis from another perspective. 👍👍
This was very helpful…I think adding this roast style breakdown as an adder to the P24 course would be very helpful. Granted, I have not watched thoroughly the updated course, but having a separate roast course of 10 to 15 articles would be awesome sauce! hint, hint
Thanks so much for this insightful video! I'm aware of the most things that you mention here, and it has been really a challenge to communicate this to my clients who think old approach with integrating KWs without providing value, and being full-blown on being novelistic and not specific will help them in the long term. Certainly gave me more confidence for my next pitch. 🙂
Thank you, Ricky!
Thanks for this video. It was very helpful, especially the specific examples.
