There is arguably no better way to build wealth than investing in stocks. Prior to Robinhood launching with commission free trading, it was unheard of to pay zero commission for buying a stock. Nowadays, all other brokerages have decided to follow suit.
Just yesterday, Robinhood announced dividend reinvestment plans DRIP, and Fractional Share investing. These two new features will allow beginner investors to get started with less money. Robinhood now allows an investor to purchase 1/1000000 of a stock with as little as $1.
The great news is that fractional share investments still entitle you to receive passive income in the form of dividends. However, your dividend will be based on the dividend yield in relation to the % of ownership in the stock. Robinhood automatically tracks your fractional share ownership.
Who is DRIP investing for? It’s for people who want to automate their investments, and be efficient by spending less time manually reinvesting their dividends. An incredible feature that’s worth taking a look at.

Robinhood is a great app to invest with. There are many other brokerage houses that have zero commission now. Also, I do like the DRIP with robinhood because it allows fractional shares. Thanks for the video.

Has anyone else had the issue where the dividends were reinvested at an inaccurate stock price point? I vane now disabled DRIP and am doing it manually :/ I feel like I got scammed by RH. Has this ever happened to you Andrei?

Schawb announced they'd be doing fractional shares 2 months before Robinhood's December announcement and at the moment already have DRIP.
Revolut had this feature (Fractional Shares) from the start, once trading commenced last Sep-October within their app 🙂
Robinhood was just sued by FINRA for not getting their users the best trades and instead accepting money from brokerages to place trades with them. How does that play into all of this?

When you try to take out money from robinhood and put it back into your bank account, does the tax only take out the amount from what you earned from investing or the amount as a whole and if its based on the whole amount, how much do they take out from it.
