a really solid US market small cap trader is "humbled trader" – she posts really informative no BS videos, often explaining ideas, or reviewing her trades. Might be worth checking out if you want to dabble more in small caps.
no way! I was in that discord for a while, but left about 2 weeks ago. I found it initially because I think Pj Matlock, the founder, is south african. the culture of the group wasn't quite for me 🙂 Thank you for making this video!!!
Great video as usual 🙏 can you share your opinion on finviz maybe in some following video? It looks like there is something good going on there. Thank you!
A nice way to lose all your money.
Can someone explain why tradingview has a different looking charts than my brokage tastyworks? I use the same timeframe but it is always different and also the price is different…like…what is this?
I would definitely check out StockJock on Twitch (and YouTube). He streams his day trading, is very transparent about wins and losses and educates as he goes. He's built a great community and I've learned a ton just from watching his stream and videos.
Great video! Personally, I’d prefer to hear what percentage gains and losses you’re having rather than dollar amounts. If you made $800 off $1,000, that’s a lot more impressive than $800 off $10,000. Thanks!
Solid video, really great info, I've been on the fence about Atlas and Zach for a while. You were extremely charitable and even handed. Great stuff.
Atlas is amazing. And Mods usually don't alert exits due to the fact that so many people blindly follow, and if they alert a sell, then it would tank the stock.
U still holding Work horse?
As a newer trader these guys have def been fun to follow but none ever talk their exit and it’s caught me off guard a few times. I understand protect your profits but it’s like 🚀 talk all day and I am end up bah holding 😂. Still a learning experience though
8:53 As someone brand new trying to learn I think this is very important to make a mental note. I've been observing this myself. I notice people get quite vocal when things are going good and rather quite and less frequent with their comments when the candles are going red. I bet a lot of new people that just follow callouts are wondering what to do at these times. I'm not really jumping in on plays being new, but I'm trying to watch what goes on and I find myself wondering at times what the thought process is when I see this happen. Would love to be a fly on the way during some of these call outs to watch and observe handling these situations. Trying to learn trading has definitely felt a bit overwhelming as a newbie.
When Daniel Inskeep drops a video you better listen!
zack morris is my father
one ad played before the vid even started
Check out @Beachtrading this guy has a 6 mil. stick account and offers a free discord.
Awesome info, I like how genuine you look in front of the camera.
You were too soft on them, Zack Morris aside, You have about 6 guys all with thousands of followers pumping the same low float stock at the exact same time…after they front ran and it’s up 10 percent then they send an alert for noobs to provide liquidity for them to dump on. I watched for an entry all week on their calls but there never was one. Ex. They all pumped VRPX and told people it’s an overnight hold while they dumped on them AH and tanked the stock. Sick thing is people will defend this because their embarrassed they are the bagholders.
And Daniel, research the trading style known as THE STRAT……it will blow you away!
With your trading style, you should hang around with RIPSTER…..dude is unreal and a wealth of info!!!!
Excellent presentation, very informative and thought provoking. The Atlas group is for real. They are honest normal people who share their knowledge and shorten the learning curve. They preach dont blindly follow any alert or anybody's opinion without doing your own research. They offer Trade Ideas and Benzinga Pro free of charge and promote the services as they are essential tools within the trading industry. They make it look easy because they have years of experience and are seasoned traders who fell for all the traps and manipulations played by Wall Street. They don't pump and dump, they foresee probable tickers that may gain momentum because they have very low floats and are sympathy plays to the stocks in play. And if you have enough cash, why wouldn't you buy when the tickers are forgetten (like EYES or NURO or SQBG or IGC) and hold for a month or two as they will eventual pop. They don't buy the tickers the day they are taking off…rather they stockpile KNOWN RUNNERS that may or may not go parabolic…….The followers assume they buy on the first green spike….but wouldnt it be less stressful if you already have some in your portfolio….THEY WILLINGLY SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND INSIGHT and never brag or rub shit in…everybody starts from scratch….
Anyone ever say you look like Tim Kasher from Cursive? Either way, I'd buy your album.
Hey Daniel. This is my first video watchin you. You seem a great guy. I subscribed and I'll go through your videos 📹
Ripster, Bob and Brady are the goats they taught me how to trade!
Zack morris tweeted something about this video
Good video, Daniel. Thanks for sharing your thoughts/analysis here.
Good video, most of these FURUS preach a lot of what you area saying, not to follow blindly and so forth but people still do and when they lose money or hold something too long they scream and yell.
I only believe if there is audited trades like Dan Zanger.
1. Why would you reveal your strategy?
Because we are retail traders. The MORE people that we can get on board with seeing the SAME thing that everyone else sees, the more chances that stock has to catch momentum and run. This benefits everyone who is on the correct side of that analysis and trade.
2. Why do you need to sell a course?
First off, most dont NEED to sell a course. I have taken 5k and turned it into 40k+ in less than three months. I made plenty of money so there is no NEED to sell a course. So why do it? Some people LIKE to share information. People have passions. Trading is a passion for these people. MAYBE teaching is ALSO a passion for them. I can remember not having adequate resources when I first started. I had no mentor, no one to help. So when I finally figured out something that works, what did I do? I made it a point to help those who were like me in the beginning so that they can learn from my mistakes and not make the same ones. I get more enjoyment out of seeing other people make money than myself.
Day trading is hard. It takes years to get the hang out it. But it can and WILL change your life.
3. The PDT rule.
You can bypass it with a cash account. You dont need margin to day trade unlimited. Yes, you have to wait on funds to settle, but it is next day settlement if you are trading options. So you can day trade your full portfolio value each and every day thus bypassing the PDT rule.
Disclaimer: I dont have any affiliation with Atlas or any of the traders here and not writing this on their behalf. I am just here to represent those handful of pro traders who are actually here to help people. There are a TON of scammers out there who wont share their YTD PNL because they have never been profitable. You can thank TikTok for that. So watch out for those guys. Always know who you follow and do your own DD.
I appreciate this video nonetheless and encourage any new trader to do this type of research before buying ANYTHING from anyone online. Hope you were green today!
The tommy Guy never posts an original idea. He always copies all the other guys posts.
this was great! fair enough. when you are in chatrooms like that you are swimming with the sharks. you might get a good chunk of meat is you know what you are doing… and your might lose some flesh even when you know what you are doing. the only thing i don't agree with is the end comment about the 80% win rate. you can be a profitable trader with a less than 50% win rate… and I'm not sure what style achieves 80% but I would have given up long ago trying for that. Minervini (for free in his books has excellent chapters on this, probably Oniell too). anyway, good vid!
I've been following and participating with Atlas for a while. It's interesting. From what I understand, they were originally (pre-GME) a group of ~5000 traders that branched off from the Sapphire Trading discord because of differences of opinions between UltraCalls, PJ, and Zack. They were a relatively tight-knit group of traders that cared about education, teaching, and a family atmosphere. After GME, they ballooned to 50k, 100k, 200k members. They're not intentionally doing pump and dumps, but they big enough now that they aren't able to put alerts out on low-float small caps without impacting the price. They get hyped when it moves, so they tweet to a couple hundred thousand people, which moves it more. The leaders in Atlas have been really defensive recently and I think that's them coming to terms with their influence. At the start, an alert decisions that panned out would have reinforced how well educated they were as a community, because their alert didn't change the price, but now that same alert only reinforces the size of their follower base. If PJ can stay humble, hopefully he can steer the ship back towards education. They pump and dump, but only in the same way that Jim Cramer does; they can't try to help people without doing so.
Lol gurus will get triggered. Great content
I mostly follow my own plays with research but I love ATLAS and always find myself in the discord. Between the plays, education, and friendly chats, I really appreciate what everyone does there.
What an odd video. Nigh on accusing a few traders of pumping & dumping while openly admitting that the strategy works if you manage your risk. Which is exactly what all the Atlas guys says. Weird.
Good video, Daniel. Thanks for sharing your thoughts/analysis here.
lol he posted about you on his twitter
All the people I watch on Twitter… Zack made me a shit ton of money last year… guy is 4 real… but do your own DD.
