Is print-on-demand a good way to make some pretty passive cash in 2020? Well, in this video, I try to answer that question.
I start a brand new clothing company from scratch utilizing print-on-demand to see how much I can make. I cover my entire thought process throughout to give you some insight on why I made certain decisions.
I hope you find this type of video useful and learn from my experience.

I do not believe you did proper research before getting into action this time. There are several good YT videos out there on how to run a successful POD store. I also visited your store and it said the store was closed, so I guess my comment doesn't matter much anymore. Good luck with your other future businesses and thanks for sharing your experience here.
So why is your shop not open? It is way harder than people think, always
Thank you for putting the time into this and showing us your honest and real results. Much appreciated!
Can i start a printful without a Shopify and could i get someone to Create my page?
Thanks!
Hope the video made a better revenue
Your video are very interesting
Great video! I created a POD site selling tshirts years ago (before it was popular). I had 3 customers total after months of work. My best customer purchased 3 shirts that said "I was polled by Frank Luntz" who is a political pollster pundit. It was Frank Luntz who purchased those three shirts π
hey bro, amazing video, good job.I really appreciate your ability. Our company is a professional supplier in the Print on Demand industry, owning two factories in the US and China, may I know whether there are any chances to cooperate with you?
Daniel your slowly becoming one of my favorite youtubers of all time. i hope one day my channel takes off like yours has. keep up the great work! π
Great content! Found this channel through your Gamestop video.
Nice giveaway and great marketing for the company! I am directly descended on my male line from the Normans that invaded England in 1066 and plenty of Norse relatives on the other side of my family with my DNA showing I have many relatives from Iceland currently and the ancient DNA from Norse remains found in Iceland show up as close relatives so always good to know where your cousins and family are π
You can find my contact information on my YouTube channel or just comment on any of my videos if I get lucky and win but then I need to visit Iceland for a beer to collect my prize!
you are damn smart dude…. Big Up man…
great video but music is kinda annoying
Just Subscribed π Yes "Love how real and transparent you are with everything" ππ
Love all the transparency. Great job.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I have considered this in the past but I feel the Tshirt bubble burst a few years ago. so many Tshirts for sale and low margins as you say, not ideal. Kudos for sharing all your hard work.
Any updates as today Daniel? I would love to learn from you experience.
BTW awesome videosπ―π―π―π―
Just started following you. Very very well put together videos.
Thanks for the info. $30 seems hogh to me for price. POD seems to haveore overhead but, the labor is pretty much 0 so π€·ββοΈ seems like volume would be a better strategy. Also have you tried using twitter and Google ads? Seems like it ends up being a matter of finding and covering as many. Teach a man to fish… but A wider net feeds the village. Maybe? π Im working on this project as well, trying a little different angle. I think the creative part of the designs is really where the magic is. Fashion is a fickle beast. Look at what sells on runways and tell me you would ever do that. π
I watch a lot of these videos but, the human factor does make it a bit random. Would be nice if it were as straight forward as brewing beer and bottling it. π»
Seems to me that the formula really is in the ad space. Just started working with ad campaign. Lots of variables; I was a bit surprised. But no more than coding games or 3d cad/graphics, or what not. A bit of a learning curve π΅
Thanks for the look at your projects. Very helpful. πβοΈ
He was the client who order loool look he is wearing the tshirt in the end. Jokin bro, respect the grind keep it up yh. Ur banging it in the youtube world less goo
Man I love your videos
As always, so down-to-earth and humble. I appreciate your honesty, transparency and clarity. Grateful to have found your channel. Thanks!
Nice to see someone telling the truth instead all of the other BS videos ''making'' 30k in two weeks. I had the same experience as you, with 3 different shops using shopify, fb ads and instagram shoutouts. Yes, some people DO make money this way, but it's not that easy.
Wasted
Thanks for sharing with us this experience , I hope you store doing better these days .
It's from mistakes we learn .
Thank you again from Morocco, I liked the content of your Channel
Your flaw is not your designs… but rather not spending enough in ads to find the right people. A sample size of 3 sources is not nearly enough
Thank you
Hi Daniel please dont feel bad, i follow another pod youtuber and he is also a web developer and he close his shopify store as well because he said that even though his designs and website were great he couldnt make people open the wallet and purchase because its an unknown brand. However in his Merch by Amazon pod store he is having a lot of success because people already trust Amazon and they dont hesitate on pulling their wallet out and shop away. I think your designs are pretty cool, the concept is great, i am sure your talent will have a lot of value in one of the POD platforms. Best of luck!
Thank youππΏππΏ
Hi Daniel, I just discovered you yesterday and have been binge-watching the Anti-Guru! I, too, just launched a store last month and can relate to the overwhelm. But the opportunity to start a brand without much monetary investment is pretty cool. I have been using a mix of print-on-demand apps to avoid being limited by just one POD's product offerings. I agree that in the end, it's all about marketing, so it was really interesting to hear about your paid ad experience. Thank you for going deep!

Designs were very cool. Sorry it was such a struggle!
I'm really not one to give praise (don't judge me) lol but I found your video just yesterday and WOW and I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of free information you give out. It really helps one think anyone can do it given the time and efford. I have a weird fascination with buying shirts. I literally have hundreds to go with maybe 10 pairs of pants lmao and it would be SO cool to make my own. An insaley well deserved sub from me.
So I have my brand on Instagram and also have a website but I'm afraid to use PlaceIt images on Instagram because usually you tag the model or the people in it. You think it'll be fine if I don't tag the models? I tried looking for answers on this coudln't find anything. Thanks!
Thank you. Very informative
Nice to see you are not trying to prsent sugar-coated realty to us and you are brave enought to show that you have failed. That something youtube needs-honesty and transparency.
Thank you for all the time and work you put in to do this video
Excellent Content!!!
