How do you exit the spot short position in the first example you gave – ie you put in a market order of $100, so do you put in the same amount to exit after btc has gone down??
Thanks for this. I have watched it many times but there is not enough detail for me to feel confident. For instance the BTC price is in single digits (eg 1.4) and not sure what value to put in for a limit order and how to fill out auto close position when 'spot trade' shorting.

I like the bot trading feature for shorting in kucoin . I had a very good win ratio using it . That was until a 10x short went bad and I got liquidate in mins . Frustrated I tried three more times testing my luck until finally taking an 80% hit on my portfolio . I will test my luck again when the market is a tad more stable but yea btc would be a safer short or leverage trade . I was trading alts .

Ive used spot trading, margin trading stop calls all the basics, have understanding of the buying pressure and selling pressure yet still don't understand how you 'borrow' this money to long and short??? Like if you come up short (no pun intended) does kucoin garnish your bank account? I don't understand the borrow part
