UPDATE on running my Business as a CEO, Nomad, MOM, & YouTuber (Medellin Colombia)
About 98% of you watching this video weren’t aware that the last time I was in Medellin my husband and I were robbed and it was single-handedly the scariest night of my life.
Let me 5X your YouTube Lead Flow š https://www.subscriberstosales.com/start
In today’s documentary video, I recap what my family and I’s trip was like returning to Medellin Colombia after being robbed the last time we left just two years prior. Let’s check out what live is like now going back with a business, a baby, being a Youtuber and operating my business. It’s definitely different being a digital nomad family versus when it was just me traveling with my fiance back in the day! I hope you enjoy this day/week in the life!

Absolutely relate to your experience.
I live in Medellin half the year. Nyc the other half the year so I consider myself very street smart.
I was walking back to my hotel (leterra) from a resturaunt. This is a 10 minute walk. Got robbed at gun point . I def had a reaction of anger. It has 100 percent effected my experience now. I am also much more cautious of locals, sometimes bordering rude which I feel bad about but itās the truth
Beautiful city, just be careful
I want to teach English abroad (Im an ESL teacher of 18 years) and its been a dream of mine to teach somewhere that's not super competitive and more focused on learning and community. I want more of a low key type of place since i live in NYC phew š®āšØ So im thinking about Mexico or somewhere in South America or Northern Africa. What do you think? Love your content as always ā¤ā¤ā¤
Hope do you cope with the frequent lightening š© down there?
I moved to Medellin 3 years ago thanks to you!
I just watched this after our meeting! I'm so glad you are OK! I'd love to spend the winter there or a couple of months at least
you dont pray in the morning?
Hello! I just discovered your channel. I love the transparency and honesty in your content and you genuinely seem invested in helping others succeed! Can you please tell me what software/apps/tools you use to make your videos? I have a windows based laptop and iPad Air and need affordable tools I can use to develop my channel with those 2 devices. Thanks in advance!!!!
Bad decision…Colombia is crap
You know, Marissa, everywhere has its places and people that are bad, vice versa has its good places and good people. Life is unpredictable. The good thing is that no one got *illed or *aped etc. You can always get stuff back, but a life is priceless. I'm glad you're overcoming the fear, and everything is going well for you and your husband, and now your baby can experience that beautiful place and experience his heritage.
Yes
Can't wait to see more Columbian content for us Digital nomads!
I cannot believe it has already been 2 years since that happened! So proud of you and your family! You are killing it!

Sorry about your bad experience but happy everybody is okay. Things can be replaced, as you know, not people. Anyway, thanks for sharing all the amazing things to do there. It really is beautiful! Omg the greenery, I love plants. It sounds very affordable to eat there! I definitely like that, too!
