YouTube is Deleting My Channel (Graham Stephan & my response)

I'm not big enough but even I with less than 1K subs have been dealing with scam comments in my crypto videos as well… This has to stop.

With all their computer savvy these people have, it never fails to astound me that don't JUST go LEGIT and make money legitimately rather than doing it illegally and in a way that is going to bring them nothing but bad karma. AND that stuff's real.

Right but even if you are how do you spam on your own channel? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Will somebody break this down to me? That's like telling people you can't offer to sell them things when they come to your house no? 😬

Hi Marissa, so sorry to hear what happened to Greg and yourself. I am very familiar with this feeling as someone spammed my IP address and created another selling account on Amazon and thus my account was deactivated and my stock disposed – still…all without being spoken to in person after appealing four times. I will definitely look into the online security issues because this is so horrible that these people have the ability to steal your living under your nose with no recourse. I will be putting a lot of my videos on Rumble as well as YouTube for this reason. I'm not far away from starting my channel. All the best and thankyou for your great videos – they have been a great help.

I suggest the best way to stop this scammers, i to start by clicking on their profile and report them, after like 500 people on Marissa channel report them, YouTube will start to delete them, this is the strategy I use for my other YouTube channel, I do tell my subscribers to report this scammers, my channel is now having zero spam post

I hope this truly gets resolved. So sad this happened. It makes me a little weary of starting one. Do the benefits outweigh the risks? Praying for you i enjoy your channel as a new subbie!

I barely started to upload myself. While I was researching for my goals, I got a youtuber asking to WhatsApp me in the exact same way. I blocked them in my phone after they pitched me their scam.
That experience dissolutioned me from every youtuber that pictures a rosey how-to on uploading without using your face.

Having an accountable point-person for high value creators at YT (as defined by YT's value scale, i.e., 100K subs, 1mil subs, etc) is smart business for all parties involved.

It may not be the same contact @ YT regarding
brand managing & growth strategies -> because different skill-sets & escalation levels are needed for different issues i.e., creator training & development vs. possible safety & loss of revenue for creators & ultimately YT. It matters to YT because if this keeps happening, when (not if) a more cohesive creators-valuing platform is available, creators (YT's assets) will jump…

What we are talking about here is YT restructuring to service their creators w/out having to hire more/expand, etc.

The way to do this is to create teams for creator support of various skills & resources for different needs (think circles of support, not levels of support). These multi-faceted, multi-skilled teams would service the same cohort of creators, be it by value, or region, etc. Each team would consist of the full range of support & resources i.e, development, security, warning emails..etc and responsible for the success of the specific creators assigned to them (their cohort). Each creator would then know who to contact on their assigned team for what. Each team member would still do their same jobs & level of expertise, but they would also have the team's bird's eye (or holistic) view of the creators they serve, speeding up more intimate responses to their creators as they constantly develop individually and as a team.

Furthermore, when each team member reports back to their respective universal YT department of expertise, trends and needs would be identified across YT at lightening speeds & decisions & solutions could be applied in a simultaneous & systematic order across YT when each person of their respective expertise rejoins their creator support/resource team for their cohort of creators

I am sure YT corporate is struggling to meet the ever-changing needs of individual creators, within a cohesive infrastructure. The question for all great companies is how to do this without expanding endlessly; creating confusion & even more distance and lag between communications & solutions (to the different share-holders) … This might be a possible way to do it.

If there is something we (your audience) could do, please let us know. I get a bit irritated with all of Spam Pirates. Can we hit the report button if that could help? I've done it before but not sure how effective it is.
