Need help setting up your ClickMagick tracking link?

In this video, I show you how to do just that!

It’s a pretty simple process – just have to fill in some blanks after clicking on “Create a New Link”. 😊

Let’s go from top to bottom here in creating our ClickMagick tracking link.

The first thing you’ll see after clicking on “Create a New Link” is the group name.

If you haven’t added any groups yet, you can just skip this – it’s really just for organizational purposes.

But if you want to create a group right away, simply click on “Tools” and then select “Group Manager”.

Create as many groups and subgroups here as you want. Then when you head back to your tracking links, you can select that group that you made.

Going back to our ClickMagick tracking link though…

The next field you have to fill up is the name.

This field is optional and if you don’t put anything in, ClickMagick will automatically fill it in for you.

Of course if you want to stay organized you would want to fill this field in again, so go ahead and enter a name that you can refer to later on.

In our case, we were promoting our Unbounce landing page about Google Ads and affiliate marketing, so we just named our link “Affiliate on Google Ads”.

Next you have to select your custom tracking domain.

By default, it’s “www.clkmg.com”, so you can leave it at that for now.

Check out my next video to learn how to create a custom tracking domain though!

After this, we have to enter the link slug. This is a 4-20 character word that goes at the end of your link.

This is also optional and will get populated automatically if you don’t enter anything in, but you should enter something that relates to your product just in case people do see this link.

So you can have your link slug say “google” for our example and that should be enough.

Last but not least, you have to enter the URL you want to redirect people to. This is the URL that the ClickMagick tracking link will take people to when clicked on.

We’re going to add in our Unbounce landing page as the final URL here, but this link can be ANY link you want, including websites you have no control over.

For example we even logged into our ClickBank account and entered our ClickBank affiliate link here.

So once you hit “Create Link” and use the tracking link, ClickMagick will redirect clicks through their tracking link to the primary URL that you specified.

And that’s how you create a ClickMagick tracking link!

That’s it!

Like for example, I want to bring in traffic from Bing to my hosted landing page to collect their e-mails but then also have a second thank you page. Do you have any in-depth videos about the funnel process? Also, do you need a custom domain any more now that you can make something called ClickMagick Campagins? Thanks.
