The Best *FREE* Page Builder Overview – Build Professional-Looking Pages (Going Into 2021)

Looking for the BEST free website or landing page builder? In this video I show you what the best page builder is going into 2021 based on my own experience and research.

I went ahead and signed up for about 9 different “free” page builders and this one by far was my favorite, having an easy-to-use interface that’s very intuitive and gives you the most control over your page.

Here is the table of contents for today:

0:00 – Introduction
1:25 – What the #1 page builder is and how to use it

Part 1: What is the best page builder?

What is the best page builder in 2021?

If you haven’t guessed by now, it’s WIX!

It’s a pretty popular page builder solution right now and a lot of people that are just starting out online marketing are trying it out.

I know a lot of you guys are asking me for free solutions and page builders and I decided to give it a shot so that I could give you the best option available for you.

I went through a total of 9 free page builders, and this one by far was my favorite.

I call it the “mini-Unbounce” because if I myself was looking for a free solution, I would go with Wix.

It’s very easy and intuitive to make page edits, create a website, landing page, and so on with Wix. Some of the other page builders actually make it incredibly difficult to edit the page (mainly because it’s free… so what do you expect, right?) but Wix surprised me with the amount of flexibility they give you for a free product.

Let’s take a look at some of these options and build out at least part of a page together…

Part 2: Using this page builder to create our page

Whether you are looking to build websites or landing pages, Wix has you covered. That’s why it’s the best free page builder in my opinion.

Simply create an account here if you don’t have one yet:

And follow along with me in this video.

Basically we just click on “create new page” and take it from there.

I suggest building out a page based on a template because it’ll be easier for you to keep track of where things are for your new page.

Once you pick a template, all you have to do is just change some things out and go to each specific page tab of the site to make edits there.

For example you would make changes to your “Home” page, then click on the dropdown in the top-left corner and make edits to your “About Us” page, and so on.

Just repeat the process for every page of your website and you’re good to go with a professional-looking website!

Now if you want to instead create a LANDING PAGE, ideally you don’t want to have any navigation menu bars at the top as it’s distracting to the user and you want them to sign up or subscribe and not go around clicking the options at the top of your page.

So what you can do in this case is simply create a new page, name it something like “Landing Page” or something for your reference, then go into the “Menus and Pages” option in the top-left corner and choose the “no header” option for that specific page.

The drag-and-drop is pretty simple to use too – simply click on the “Add” on the left-hand side to add any element you want to the page.

I go over some of the most important ones you’re probably looking for first, such as text, images, buttons and so on.

If you want to remove any elements, simply select them and click on “backspace”. You can undo any action by clicking on control + Z or the Mac symbol + Z if you’re on a Mac. Pretty straightforward.

If you want to add a section, you will need to add a “Strip” to the page, and if you want to delete any section, you would just click the “Zoom out” button on the top of the page and then delete any section you want from there.

Once you are ready to publish, first click “Save” in the top-right so that you can change the name of the subdirectory for the page you want, and then just click “Publish”.

Make sure to set your user ID to whatever you want it to be before finalizing so your page URL can look the way you want it to.

And that is what is in my opinion the best FREE page builder in 2021!

  2. Clearly the answer is WordPress and Elementor.

You have to pay for expensive hosting to get Wix.

Finally, you really should say upfront, that you’re an affiliate for Wix, “Full disclosure”

  3. Great video Ivan! I have thought about using Wix for a long time. It really seems like an all around great platform. I liked this video so much I commented on it twice with 2 different accounts. lol Just been watching a lot of your vids tonight. 🙂
