In this video, I talk about NFTs: what they are, who makes them, how I made one, and how you can too. There’s a lot of hype around NFTs right now and we could be in a bubble that may burst once the hype dies down.

Some NFTs are stupid, some are cool, some are somewhere in between! I’m not sure if they’ll be the future of collecting or not, but it’s something to keep your eye on.

What do you think?

  1. Im a musician and im wondering if digital artists are hiring producers or if they are collabing for each art.

Do you think it would be possible that a producer buys the gif’s and then once the music is added it becomes the producers work?

  2. Daniel
After the NFT is sold, who holds ownership of the song? Would you be able to upload to streaming/licensing services? If you can upload, who would receive the track royalties? You or the NFT owner?

  3. I have my own 3D abstract art for years in deviantart but cannot afford the current Ethereum price, just googled it and is at almost 2000 dollars so I guess I won't be able to sell any of my stuff or even try 🙁
    thanks for the info.

  4. I need help, guys. I'm a traditional artist but a client wants to purchase some of my art AND register them under NFTs. What would that mean for me and my copyright, especially if he starts to profit off my work that way? And what would stop other clients from buying art and doing same to other artists? I hear it's a common problem. Not every artist knows/understands/can afford to use NFTs, so I'm worried. I haven't sold the art to him yet, though.

  5. NFTs seem like a brilliant way for a self-publishing ebook author to create first editions. Especially with the option to profit when the NFT changes hands in future. So an unknown author today, who becomes popular in future, could really benefit from this. What a brilliant concept. I came here after seeing that Jack Dorsey had sold his first Tweet, I'd never heard of NFTs, Liked and Subbed. Great video.

  6. The current fees are around 180 dollars to create an NFT ( and every NFT) … fees include; buying the etherium, opening a shop on an NFT site (once only per website or platform), a commision on selling the work .. moving the etherium to a wallet .. send the money to your bank account. Beware.

  7. Hello Daniel, I think it is time to meet Elrond NFTs using ESDT standard.

At this point, on Ethereum NFT royalities are platform specific. The ELROND NFT standard solves this with a built-in royality fee in the protocol.

ELROND NFT standard gives more power to every author and creator out there.

It is time for them to gain what is rightfully theirs.

Ethereum's NFT ERC-721 standards assigns token ownership on token's smart contract. Instead of an account owning the NFT directly, ERC-721 contract work in a way that states:

    "THESE ARE OUR TOKENS"

ELROND's smart accounts allows tokens to be stored directly under the trie of the account itself.

Instead of the SC storing information, Elrond's account is directly saying:

    "THESE TOKENSE ARE MINE"

NFT tokens on ELROND have stronger personal & legal implications for ownership due to the nature of Elrond's smart account.

Now I just ask you to do your own research on Elrond Network ESDT and NFT standards.

After that, as a creator, it is your choice. Pick wisely.

  8. awesome work 😀
As you said that people asks you to make more videos for music production, this is just one more request… Can you make one or video series how you make music, like process behind it, programs and instrument you use, sites where you sell it, etc.??
