I tried selling on Fiverr for 30 days.

Is becoming a new seller on Fiverr worth it or is the market completely over-saturated? I spent one month on Fiverr trying to get solid gigs to earn some decent side income.

Something to note: I’m making the assumption that one already owns/pays for the necessary hardware and software to complete the Fiverr gigs. The thought here is that Fiverr would be in addition to freelance income from other sources. Of course, you could take into account the cost of the Adobe CC subscription ($30/mo) and any other expenses if you’d like to subtract that from your revenue to find your actual profit from Fiverr.

  1. Thank you very much Sir. This ranks in my two best Fiverr videos. I'll review your channel for any other Fiverr info…I like photo/video editing bit lacks experience.I have a 9-5 but is willing to give a few hours outside those time periods

  2. if the fiverr fee is 20%, why do i end up losing 40%? I did 2 gigs, 50 dollars each and I am left with 60 dollars, for which i have to pay an additional fee to transfer them to paypal or my bank account. It's like I did one gig for free.

  3. I've been to Fiverr since 2017 and haven't managed to sell anything yet. I'm a photographer and retouched and I have two Gigs about photo retouching. 4 years without selling anything 😓😓😓

  4. Great breakdown of your 30 day Fiverr journey. Thank you for sharing that with us and congrats on your success so far! I think Fiverr is awesome for any freelancer who is looking to provide their creative or design skills and get consistent one-off clients, and possible recurring clients down the road. Fiverr also has a high earning potential if you stay consistent but in my experience Upwork is much better for getting long-term high-paying clients.

  5. I got fucked up around 10 days ago in fiverr
I started a gig and had 3 orders in last 2 months and i was like yes okay … i'm going now
The first 2 gave a 5 star rating and that motivated me
The third guy didnt gave me any job specifics and just ordered with much of details and desciption
And i delivered him the general package and idea
The mf didnt even cared to reply or whatever
And 2 days later he comes and gives me a 1 star review saying money wasted and shits
Now my rating is 3.7 fuckkkk
My whole gig is gone now
It been days since i've got orders now and that was the only gig which is doing something for me
    Fuckkk him
    May he never find happiness

  6. God damn, 20% is a dick shot! Im so tired of these godamn freelance websites fucking freelancers over! I see it everywhere! 20% is just ridiculous imo.

  7. I have been on Fiverr for 3 years and this year I had a huge boom finally reaching over 10k in 2020… so far 2021 I have made 3k per month and orders keep rolling in! I also don’t work much… I make $40 per hour

  8. Giggity gig gig goo! Haha this was a really well planned out video (as all of your vids seem to be tbh). I recently went on Fiverr as a Buyer and I've got to say it's a really neat site that's been around for a long long time. The sad thing in my case though, is that I have a hard time pin-pointing something that I'm well versed in; at least enough to feel confident selling services based around. Always thinking and looking for opportunities though which I think is an important first step at least!

  9. Yep. Fiverr has been a consistent side gig for me for years. I would never rely on it for a full time income (some people do however) but as a solid $300-600 a month? It's really perfect.
