  1. So Ricky are you telling us to write multiple articles around a specific topic and organize them into sub categories if needed for user to navigate the blog easily. Please clear my doubt in detail. Thank you

  2. Do you think it's important for us to set up the "post categories" to match this new configuration in WordPress, or just that we write the content in clusters? For example, if you focused on weddings now on your website, would it matter if your Menu remained the same for Google and you didn't set up weddings as a new post category? I'm sure that it would help users navigate more easily if everything was neatly set up into each new category, but I'm asking just about whether it would matter to Google for determining authority of the site for that topic? I have a ton of content that I'd have to switch around into new categories if that's really important.

  3. Wouldn't splitting content by event type be tricky because many foods would be eaten at more than one event type? Or doesn't it matter if there's crossover with the categories?

  4. I also just thought of a question for you since you mention it in this video. Does changing domains or combining two sites into one affect ranking? How can you do that without ruining your progress?

  5. I was hit hard by a recent Google update (traffic went from 50K to 20K) and I also think authority is the issue here. Bigger websites with lousy articles took all my best rankings. Working on building clusters now to support my recent articles, thanks for confirming that I'm doing the right thing!

  6. No matter what I search, the top 2 sites are always littered with banners and popups to join a newsletter. Either this or its some dude pushing links to amazon. Google search is out of control and has no idea what to rank #1 to be honest.

  7. I have a question, the last one I asked was answered quickly and professionally. I see a lot of mentions about WordPress site building and hosting. Can I use SquareSpace to build my new blogging site?

  8. As is seen on recent SERP result what I am facing now on my sites, the topical authority helps a site lead on the SERP. Now, the Topic clustering & KW grouping by Silo Structure may help a site to grow big.

  9. Somewhere (I’m sure it was from Project 24) i got adopted two rules; articles one inch wide and one mile deep and write everyday and you’ll see the results in a few years. You guys NEVER promised overnight success. You told me it would be so hard, most people would quit before they saw success. It was 451 days before I saw my first dollar—today 550 days or so later, it’s $1000 a month. Your original formula will see that number skyrocket—as per your own instructions. Please do not pull a “New Coke” on us. If you have doubts poll your happy, successfully, and exhausted students. Ya paid it forward—they won’t mind. Refine, sharpen, modernize, but do not walk away from your original program. It works!

  10. This issue is a big challenge for me in simply getting started. I have a similar sort of niche and am just not sure how to organize it. I'd sure rather avoid reorganizing and rewriting over and over. And how will that reorganization affect my navigation tabs, and redirects, and internal site links, and backlinks? Yet, I know we'll always need to update and improve our sites and our content. How can we keep track of changes to content and links and keywords across a hundred articles / posts / pages? 😵‍💫

  11. I need to re-watch, but it wasn’t crystal clear to me exactly how you were going to fix that issue moving forward. Is the solution to add a bunch of new articles that are hyper clustered together? Or can you simply create new niched down categories and reassign the existing articles to be more closely tied to one another?

  12. The depth of this post I amazing and I understand where it’s taking me, but I have five blogs written on my website and feel like this is something I need to keep pretty far back in my mind as I work towards having this problem. And then I think that is probably a backwards and it should be in the front of my process… I think eventually the pieces of the process will all fit together in my brain! 🙃

  13. Thanks for sharing this Ricky. In your 'Blog Action Plan' video it was suggested to select 3 categories and write 15 posts for each category. Is that still a good approach or should we now focus on 1 category and write 30 or so posts as an initial step? just curious as I am at that point in my content planning.

  14. It makes me nervous to begin blogging, but watching your videos knowing your still testing at the level I would be at is really reassuring. I hope to join project 24 this Jan and take on the challenge 😊

  15. WOW. Amazing lesson learned on this one, thank you SO MUCH for this. I've got some changes and things to write for my own blogs now! 😀

You guys are the absolute best, thank you! 🙂

  16. So niching down to have more depth of authority rather than depth of topic?

I hate changing the silo structure and categories after planning it out! That block is one frustration that often makes me not want to get started.
