You probably know that interlinking can help keep visitors on your site longer. But what’s much more surprising is that it can also help your pages rank better on Google. I know interlinking can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you have a lot of articles on your site. But don’t worry. There’s a straightforward process you can follow and I’ll show you how to get it done in just an hour or two.

Thanks for this insight. From watching your videos I have learned that blogging is just not writing, there's a whole lot of marketing that goes on as well, even subtle stuff like getting people to click on an internal link.
I have two months old website, I have 100 Blog post on my website. My website is losing position on Google and impression, what can I do to improve my positions for a two months old website?
Hey Rickey, love your videos! thanks for another helpful video. Can you explain is there benefits of using link whisper pro and just auto one click add bunch of links to article based of plugin assesment? If you have please link to some resource for best settings or things to do with it, people usually just use it on automatic and put bunch of links all over the article based on link whisper automation. Why dont you mention link whisper that you also use on your sites and most optimal settings, pros, cons etc…its relevant to this topic, here's the new video idea 🙂
Your tongue is swollen, check it out
Really helpful! Thank you.😍😍
This is the easiest post I have ever seen that discussing interlinking without all the technical jargon. I am not really surprised because Income School huge on doing things organically. I love the idea of using interlinking to keep customers longer on your website thereby reducing the bounce rate.!
I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome and I would love to know if the reduction in bounce rate, increase of time on page and associated income pays off in a monetary way. If you put 2 hours into doing this what do you consider to be a good increase in revenue from that action? How does this compare to putting that time into writing posts vs having a "related articles" section at the bottom of the page.
Thank you so much for video.. I am struggling to get page views..and interlinking would help as explained..
Definitely love your interlinking strategies! Thanks for sharing 😊
I joined income school less than 6 months ago, but even before then I was a watching every video. I recently signed up for Ezoic (today is one month) and just (3 days ago) started making over $20 a day. Income School teaches great stuff—but nothing is more important then the message they drub into you, “This takes time.” Prime the pump (write those first 30-50 articles like your life depended on it) keeping pumping that handle fast and furiously (write, write, write—even those low yield articles that prove ETA), and produce a high-quality product (give the customer what they need (target response) and then lure them into buying more (show them what they might want). Income School teaches everything you need—but what you really need is the support and encouragement of a team of like-minded individuals—that what you get from IS.
Awesome! I'm excited to see what happens. 👍
how many internal link can I add to my article?
Is there any advantage with short (to the point) titles for low-volume keywords that you are likely to rank top-3 for? Or is longer always better?
Hey Ricky! I noticed that all of your article titles also include the name of your blog. Is that an important thing from an SEO standpoint or is it just for aesthetic? Thanks!
Is a related post under the article a good link or is it much better with a link out of the content?
I have SO MANY articles that can easily be interlinked. This video is the shove I need to actually sit down and do it. Also love the idea of selling the link. I'm guilty of doing a basic "learn more here" link.
Oh, and if you're taking video suggestions, I'd love to see a walkthrough of the new G4 Analytics. I'm a little lost.
Yes! I’m always interlinking. However, I didn’t start focusing on interlinking until almost a year after starting the blog. So now I’m going back and updating where applicable.
Thanks for the video team
Is that my mic or your audio?
Interlinking is a must have for SEOs. Simple guide yet practical.
Great! Can not explain how much I learn with your videos! Thank you!
I’ve been keeping a spread sheep that has columns for how many most are linking TO this post, which post this post links out to, and what other things the post mentions that I could create new content for.
I don’t interlink if it doesn’t make sense so right now I have posts with no interlinks but eventually might be able to group them. I work on backlinks more for these lonely posts
Love the "selling the link" concept. Truly helpful stuff!
Hey Ricky! Today I just noticed that it's nearly impossible for me to get the "people also ask" section to appear in the SERP for search analysis. Are you experiencing this too? I saw a few updates back in July where it was said that this SERP feature was reduced from appearing in 60% to 30% of searches, but I hadn't noticed a difference until the past couple days. Today I am noticing that the feature isn't showing up in any of my searches. Wanted to get your thoughts.
This was timely for me, always struggle to interlink (not enough content) & whether to use one word or describe where they're going, you're examples were very helpful. And, the bit about reducing bounce rate by not opening new tab was aha moment. Would you have the link open new tab for external links assume yes as they're leaving your site anyway?
Finally, Google analytics maybe a future video on how newbies can use it or a look at the top queries you use for your blogs. Thanks
Great as always
Is it advisable to link in more than 1 location in an article? For example 1 up top in summary then 1 below where it's close to most relevant portion of article…
This is great! I think internal linking is one of the most neglected parts of blogging. Theres so many benefits from a website traffic, and SEO perspective!
After writing 15 articles in 3 months, I got 19 clicks, 1 comment, and 2 backlinks. Any idea how am I doing?
Yes….immediately after publishing an article, I try to go to at least one other article (an established, ranking one that drives traffic if possible) and link to the new article right away, so there's at least one other link reference from my own site to the new post. I do this cos of the way Google indexes and scans pages….when they scan a page, they also scan any other pages that page links to.
So if you immediately link to a newly published post from an existing one, I think it gives it a bit more chance of being indexed quicker. I try to never leave articles as "orphaned" any more, where's there's nothing else linking to it, because they can get lost on your site and never indexed.
Ricky, please answer. if non-USA resident wants to create a niche website for the USA, then for search analysis, VPN is required or can be done by changing location in google search settings?
Always good!
