When you combine a number of free keyword research tools, you can get very useful results which are almost as good as some of the premium tools. Let’s go through them one by one.

First keyword tool I recommend is Keyword Sheeter. It’s awesome if you want to produce massive lists of long-tail keywords, fast. It lacks other metrics – keyword volume and difficulty, but you can get those using the next few tools

Second tool is Google Keyword Planner. In the video, I will show you how to use Google Keyword Planner to in 3 different ways: to find new keywords, to find keyword volumes, and to reverse-engineer keywords from other people’s website.

Tool #3 is Auto-Suggest features on websites like Amazon and Etsy. I will show you how to get some really unusual keywords this way.

Tool #4 is Answer The Public. It’s a very clever tool to give you some great long-tail keywords and it can also help you find some blog post content ideas.

Tool #5 is Keywords Everywhere. It’s quite powerful if you want to discover keyword difficulty of the keywords you’re looking at.

Tool #6 is Google Trends. You should be using it if there’s any risk that your keywords may be time-sensitive, as they may have peaked already.

Tool #7 is Ahrefs. There’s actually a way to use some of the Ahrefs functions for free. I will show you how 🙂

  1. Thanks a lot, I subscribed to your channel!
    — Quick question; shouldn’t I be using incognito mode? And if so, can I somehow still use the Keywords Everywhere extension? Hope you’ll find the time to reply 🙏🏼

  2. Hi, I am facing difficulty getting access to google keyword planner? What should I do? When I apply to start a google ad, as you said in the video, then it requires description about my business that I am going to promote, bla bla bla ?
