I'm a 50 yo old lesbian and when I was 40, I was s part of a crew in DC who would party quite a bit. I blew so much on blow 5 over years and wanted to be healthy. Those friends didn't. I literally left everything and moved to CA to get healthy. I moved back east, bought a house with cash and made 3x more than my friends. Ditching the bad habits and people allow you to grow and thrive. .stay strong.

I forgive you.. when I first came across you , I looked up to your work ethic and execution. Then I started to drift away into other influencers in the space because I was unattracted by the flashy and cocky vibe I was getting. I can relate to you in that I’ve let many of my loved ones down.. years and years pass and I drown in my misery rather than taking action and bursting out my bubble. One difference between you and I is that I still haven’t reached a good level of success. I still struggle financially.. anyways… Weed was my problem at one point and I’m 3 months clean.. porn and video games was another problem that still minimally lingers but a work in progress… it’s good to hear your story and I respect you going public.. you took initiative, went rehab, and you look and sound healthy and well.. thank you for setting that example.. though my own battles are mine to overcome, it is good to see others overcome theirs.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been through the same situation and it’s one of the most difficult things we can put ourselves through. I also experienced my friends ditching me. I had just one friend who stuck by me through the recovery(except my Mom) and I made new friends for my sober life. I also lost most of my business. On the bright side I’ve been clean and sober for over 5 years now. I wish you the best of luck and to stay clean. I’m sure you’ve heard this in rehab and probably gave it a go but I would strongly recommend a 12 step program.
Proud of you bud. Freedom is worth the sacrifice. Always.
