Is 2021 and you still go to grocerys store nie US? Wow In EU i am orderom grocery shopping for at least 3 year and never bęben in grocery shop. We have fast glovo (like uber) deliveries smalec shops, and bigger deliveries like auchen carrefour. Its amazing not having to carry your shoppings and wasting time in grocery
I do not why but i still prefere europe to live. Sillicon Valley seems od place.

For a family of 4, with two middle school children, I calculated that we need over 10K to just have the same lifestyle that we are used to in Ukraine. But if we want to save some $$ (for trips, luxuries, retirement etc etc), then we would need to earn about 20K per month for a family of 4-5. I mean, yes, you can manage on far less than that, but I don't want to sacrifice my comfort 🙂 And even though it's achievable? I'm not sure that we need to move at our age (we're getting close to 35 now, with the energy levels sinking accordingly). Any advice? 🙂

I recently moved to Silicon valley and I must say for a single person monthly expenditure is around $3000 or 3500 at max. No way it could be 6000. So if a person earns 5000/month then its enough
I think you should use the word "rapport" or the phrase "sense of community" rather than "friendships" when describing the peaceful harmonious relationship of a neighborhood.

LMAO this prices are insane
Most health insurance policies have co-pay. You might end up paying thousands of dollars per case (one health 'incident'). It was already mentioned in the video that child delivery alone can cost around 10,000 dollars extra (on top of the monthly payment). How do you take that into account? Also, dental care? In reality, the costs are waaay more than shown here.
Interesting. I actually thought people in Silicon Valley safe a lot of money because companies in the Valley have amazing catering/food, so there is no need to splurge on lunch. I've been on a couple campuses where the food was like in a high-class restaurant 🙂
