  1. I have tried everything, hired writers, upgraded my hosting, used quality images and worked on my on page SEO but my blog still receives zero traffic from Google search. What am I really doing wrong?

  2. Right now, my plan is to just keep busting out content and look to see what topics are seasonal to what season. Winter is the slow time overall for the niche, so when I learn more about what people are asking over the winter, I'll focus on those areas a bit more.

  3. Learning how to do things in IT has an uptick in traffic at the beginning of the year. New years resolutions and goals to get certifications and learn new technologies is higher that time of the year.

  4. I started a blog about trekking in Patagonia (in Spanish). High season is in the summer. Around that time I wrote some posts about simple hikes that people can do even in winter, snow gear rentals, and the mountain huts that remain open.

I'm just starting out but thanks to those articles some of the traffic stayed active.

Tremendous content as always Ricky. The whole team, they are an inspiration. Congratulations.

  5. Hi Jim. What is this informational and commercial content ratio when it comes to blogs?. If we use amazon affliate links in an article will it become commercial?
For eg: If i talk about how to use the knife in the safest way in the kitchen and if i put some links in the article by saying i am using this knife give it a try.

if i write an article, that article will be full of knowledge. But at the same time, I am making sure to insert 4 to 5 affliate links. Some times only 2 amazon links. However, every post has links.
Photos will be handtaken by my mobile phone and linking them to amazon by saying xxx product ( check on amazon)
Will this be a commercial one? If i add one amazon link will it become commercial? Is my approach bad?

  6. The sadest part of my journey with blogging is that although I don't care that much for the payday, my Ezoic Epmv is only like 4-5 dollars for 1000 visitors. With 15k pv monthly, that's not even 90 bucks, but I spent a lot of time for that blog. Majority of my visitors are from USA, Canada UK and Australia, but still Epmv is so bad

  7. Good video. Another way in which I'm approaching the topic of seasonality is in the general seasonality of ad earnings – preparing for that dip in Q1 and especially January, where I've seen my own ad earnings drop literally 40-50% from Dec 31 to Jan 1. So this year, I'm trying to publish a lot of content from June-Nov especially ready to rank by Q1 next year and at least offset some of the loss in ad earnings from Jan onwards. Of course the Q4 earnings bonanza gives me a bit of a buffer, but now I'm trying to get to the point where even my worst months have respectable enough earnings to support me.

  8. Question about traffic and ezoic. I just monitized after waiting a year for traffic to increase. Ezoics daily page count is wayyyy off. Google analytics showing 250-400 daily and ezoic is 50% less. Anyone have an idea why?

  9. Yes, my website gets an average of 500-600 users a day, but once it got 1100 users in Google analytics. I was just shocked that time and read tons of articles to know. This video is clear to me in detail. Thank You ❤️
