I finally opened a Vanguard account last year and "earned"around £3,000 in interest. I was always of the opinion that my money would grow in my bank account. Proves how little financial education we receive. It's like there are people who have a vested interest in making sure normal folk don't actually try to save. Thanks for the tips.

Great point about timing the market. When you zoom out far enough, it almost doesnt make sense to not be getting involved… NOW.
9:11 time in the market beats timing the market, but you can add to your portfolio when drops happen:)

Also, a great video would be to see you talk about taking some beginner money to then split it and show a good way to put half your money into long-term investing and the other half into short-term investing!
