Hey everybody Anthony Morrison here and today I want to talk about a topic that a lot of my students and listeners have been asking me about and that’s this:
How do you persuade someone to buy your products?
Look, I know there is a LOT of info out there on persuasion, sales techniques, copywriting, how to influence people…
All those buzzwords you see from YouTube videos and courses.
And there’s a lot of good information out there, but all of this information can create so much confusion that people don’t even know where to begin.
Well, today I want to talk about a very popular concept from a book called the One Sentence Persuasion Course by Blair Warren.
A lot of marketers have given their take on this concept so I wanted to give mine as well because I believe that if you keep this sentence at the top of your mind, you’ll be able to very quickly create content that turns casual readers into buyers, and buyers into raving fans.
It doesn’t matter if you’re writing an ad, recording a YouTube video, building a sales page, or trying to close a high-ticket deal over the phone…
Remember this One Sentence Persuasion Strategy and I promise your sales skills will skyrocket.
So what is this One Sentence? What’s the One Sentence that will convince anyone to buy anything?
Here it is, directly from the book:
“People will do ANYTHING for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicions, and help them throw rocks at their enemies.”
Got it?
